「My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at this bed and bistro! Simon was absolutely lovely, and very friendly with us. We did have a slight problem with getting in because we couldn’t find the keys. But in the end it worked out. Simon is an absolutely amazing chef and I’m surprised he doesn’t work in a restaurant or is famous!! We’d love to return someday!」

「Excellent host cooked up a good breakfast with choices ranging from Bacon & Eggs, waffles, french toast, yogurt, fruit & juice plus warmed croissants & homemade jam. Amenities provided were excellent: Fridge, Keurig & coffee & microwave on bedroom level along with any needed cutlery/dishes etc. Beds were warm & comfortable, robes & slippers provided. All was very clean. Would certainly stay again. Only minus was rather limited parking necessitating careful manoeuvring when several guests...

「Laura, Fred and Lola could not have been better hosts to us. Our room was very nice. We stayed in the Lady Banting suite. We were actually fortunate enough to meet some cousins that had grown up in the house so the history with the famous Banting name was made even more special to us with our health care background. We were able to walk to the famous Haskell library and very much enjoyed the tour of this building. It is fascinating that the border runs right through the building separating...

「The room was clean, not overly large, and comfortable. The bathroom, however, was small and dated with tiny towels. We were there two nights and house cleaning was not available the first night - so the room was not made up and the towels were reused. The bar of soap was TINY - I would suggest bringing a bar from home. The breakfast had nice options and was very good. The only menu we were given was in French. We were surprised with the service charge for each morning's breakfast on our bill....
