Wochenende im Kanisfluh

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel Kanisfluh in Mellau genossen. Das gesamte Personal (Check-in, Service, ...) war sehr freundliche und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker. Einziger Wermutstropfen - das Zimmer war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Dusche sehr winzig..

Toller Service auch wenn man mal wirklich zeitig aus dem Haus muss, gibts ein kleines Frühstück. Sehr verständnisvolles und hilfreiches Personal.

Bei Ankunft wurde mir gesagt..."wir wollen, dass sich unsere Gäste wohlfühlen", danach wird in diesem Haus auch gelebt... mehr Worte braucht`s nicht.

Hatten laut Internet helle, moderne Zimmer erwartet. Leider fanden wir ein älteres, z.T. abgewohntes Zimmer mit dunklen Möbeln und knarrendem Bett vor. Sauna war nach Angabe des Personals defekt . Am Nachmittag gelang es nicht einen Cappuccino zu bekommen, obwohl das Hotel über ein Café verfügte: Es war keine Servicekraft vorhanden, welche die Espresso-Maschine bedienen konnte!

Mehr Schein als sein.....

Leider gibt es sehr unterschiedliche Zimmer. Recht gute und sehr sehr alte.... Das Hotel ist vom Personal her unterbesetzt. Vor allem im Restaurant und in der Küche. Die Küche ist leider nicht empfehlenswert. Von Prospekt und den Bildern her sieht alles toll aus aber in Wirklichkeit ist es sehr enttäuschend. Äußerungen über Unmut von heruntergefallenen Seifenspendern u.a. nimmt man sehr gelangweilt entgegen und ignoriert selbst schriftliche Reparatur bitten. Wir hatten 4 Zimmer für je 7 Tage gebucht und hier etwas mehr Service erwartet. Man wusste, dass wir geschäftlich jeden Tag den Ort verlassen müssen und informierte uns weder über die Veranstaltung eines Alm-Abtrieb (bei dem man keine Chance hat rechtzeitig aus dem Ort zu kommen wenn man dies nicht vorher weiß) noch über enthaltene Angebote des Ortes (z.B. kostenlose Seilbahnnutzung etc.). Zumindest kam man uns dann auf Anfrage, auf Grund der völlig veralteten Zimmer, mit dem Preis etwas entgegen. Erstaunlich fanden wir die Gelassenheit mit der auf unseren Unmut reagiert wurde. Die zeigte ziemlich deutlich, dass dies nicht die ersten Reklamationen sind. Uns ist es sehr unverständlich wie dieses Hotel an die vorherigen Bewertungen kommt. Das größte Lob können wir dem Mediengestalter dieses Hauses aussprechen. Die Foto´s und Prospekte sind enorm!:).

Schönes Hotel in den Bergen

Zum Zeitpunkt der Rezension (08/2016) ist ein Teil der Zimmer des Hotels renoviert. Ich war in einem renovierten Zimmer untergebracht, das tadellos ist und vor allem modern. Die unrenovierten Zimmer kann ich nicht bewerten. Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und einfach zu erreichen. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Es sind genügend Parkplätze vorhanden, Möglichkeiten zum Unterstellen von Fahrrädern sind vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, mehrere Sorten Brot, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Nutella und Müsli. Alles was das Herz begehrt. Auf Sonderwünsche versucht man so gut wie möglich einzugehen. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr gut, die Speisekarte übersichtlich - ein sehr gutes Zeichen, denn dann kann der Koch alles sehr gut. Samstag gab es ein BBQ, das ebenfalls sehr gut war. Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig, es sind nur ein paar Gehminuten zur Bergbahn. Unternehmungen finden sich in der Region mehr als genug und der Bodensee ist nur eine knappe Stunde entfernt.

Hübsches Hotel in der Dorfmitte

Tagesausflug : wir sind mit der Gondel auf die Rossstelle , haben einen Holunder Soda getrunken. Man hat dort die Möglichkeit diverse feine Spezialitäten zu essen. Wir haben ca 3 Stunden gebraucht ( inkl. Pausen, Fotosession und Natur bestaunen)um nach Mellau zurück zu wandern. Es sind ca . 10 km. Das Wetter war wunderbar und es war ein wunderschöner Tag( trotz Muskelkater und Sonnenbrand.) :-)

Wunderbar erholsamer Kurzurlaub

Ein komplett erholsamer Urlaub, Personal sehr freundlich, hat uns sogar für die gekauften Lebensmittel den Kühlschrank zur Verfügung gestellt (wir sind am Sonntag abgereist). Perfekter Aufenthalt.

Bild auf der Buchungsseite zeigt ein anderes Zimmer. Leider bekam ich ein Zimmer und Bad im Stil der Siebzigerjahre, stark abgewohnt. Voller Aschenbecher auf dem Balkon. Frühstück sehr übersichtlich, liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass keine Urlaubssaison ist.

Ruhiges Wochende!

Ruhige anlage, in der mitte der Bregenzerwald. Das Hotel ist ein aeltere Gebaude, aber neu saniert, bequem und Gastfreundlich. Das Restaurant ist Super, naechstes mal werden Wir die Halbpension nehmen. Frustueck war auch Super -- ausser keine Speigeleier am Sonntag. Danke nochmals!!

Love the private balcony, the view from our room was gorgeous! Our room was very big and well presented with the blankets in the shape of hearts, towels in the shape of swans, and Milka chocolates to welcome us into our room. The hotel staff were more than welcoming and friendly; our check in and check out went very smoothly. Hotel restaurant had a wonderful dinner and breakfast menu - the apple strudel is to die for! Not much around the area, but to be expected, as it looked to be a ski resort village.

Nettes Hotel in Dorfmitte

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. AnsprechendesFrühstücksbuffet, geräumige Zimmer. Guter Ausgangsort für Wanderungen. Wir selbst haben es als Unterkunft für den Besuch der Seebühne in Bregenz (35 km entfernt) genutzt.

Insgesamt alles in Ordnung, beim Frühstücksbuffet waren die Mitarbeiter etwas unorganisiert und dementsprechend ziemlich überfordert.

Nice place for building special memories

Excellent place- relaxing ambiance, good food and very friendly staff. Got a mountain bike for exploring the area. Couldn't have asked for anything else!
