「We had a brilliant stay at the Hygge, it is tucked in the corner surrounded by open countryside, just beautiful. The quietness was appreciated and lovely. The Hygge itself was spot on, well maintained and very clean. We found it to be a very comfortable and practical place to stay. We could have easily spent longer there and look forward to returning 」

「Due to a issue with Poppythorn cottage we were moved to Colleton we were advised of this prior to our visit via text. Very good communication throughout our stay. Staff were so helpful and quick in responding to our queries. Stunning location, we stayed for 2 nights, wish we had booked for longer! Cottage was extremely clean inside, a few weeds outside but not a big issue. Perfect and secure for my Dog. 5 minute drive to Alston where there were a couple of the pubs open and nice gift shops. 「Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months.」

「Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again. 」

「Swallow Cottage is in a great location for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and very clean cottage. The owner was fabulous when we had a small issue and responded straight away. We'd definitely stay here again」

「Stayed here while we walked part of Hadrians wall. Ideal base. Beautiful barn conversation. The owners left us wine , biscuits and scones on arrival which was lovely. Would definitely stay here again 」
