It was very comfortable and a picturesque place. It was a little noisy in the morning with traffic and a couple of the lights didn't work. I would stay there again

Pros: Big cottage. Scenic location. Bacon, eggs, milk, juice, butter, tomatoes and bread provided for breakfast. Nice toiletries. Frogs in the pond sounded cool. Rabbits everywhere. Cons: Emailed property to say we'll arrive around 4pm. No reply. We arrive at 4:15pm to find reception closed and a mobile number. Called and about 5 mins later are sent a road map (?) and where to find the key. Wi-fi had full bars, but was "connected without internet". No reply when I reached out. Road is quite noisy.

Fabulous wine tasting with an enthusiastic staffer. Merlot Cottage was fine for us, but the curtains need rehanging, freezer needs defrosting, soup spoons for breakfast? and not enough breakfast for 4 days. Eggs, bacon, bread, milk cereal and jams are provided for breakfast. The setting and location are great and the cottage was spacious, warm, clean with a comfy couch and bed. Old style charm.

Ambiance of the property and breakfast was great. Discrepancies between lastminute.com and the accomodation was frustrating as was seeking information around booking e.g different policies, instructions were not provided on where to put the keys on departure.
