This is not a 4 star hotel. Our room stunk of mildew, floor boards had 1-2 inch gaps between them and I have never seen a leakier and mouldier shower. We found bugs flying around in the bedroom. The doors and walls had stains, the worst was the bathrooms with unfinished paint, rusty fixtures and screws, and rotted wood. We asked to change rooms or a refund. The staff were polite and helpful and moved us to another room. In the new room all the issues persisted except the smell and floor boards. Albeit less mould in the shower. Both rooms were styled nicely but cheap fixtures, poor lighting and shoddy paint really ruined it. Shame to experience these poor quality rooms from a brand I expected much more off.

Such a great hotel in a convenient location to lots of amazing bars and restaurants. The check in girls were delightful and pleasantly surprised me with a room upgrade. Sue, on the cleaning staff was also a delight giving me some recommendations on food and gin spots!
