「My wife and I stayed at Melaya Estate for 3 nights in September 2025. The villa is spacious and comfortable. There is a private pool and direct beach access. It's a quiet area, very peaceful. The staff is excellent. You tell them what you want from their menu and they bring the food to your villa at the specified time. The food is excellent. We are birders and the manager arranged for a driver to take us to the Bali Barat National Park, about 20 minutes away. We highly recommend these...

「What a fantastic place to relax. From the first moment, when you drive down the bamboo tunnel, you just know its going to be great. Stayed for a couple of nights in a Cliff Tent Pool Villa, which had great views across the ocean to Menjangan Island. The Cliff Tents are well spaced out, so it is very relaxing. Tents are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Food at both the restaurant and as Room service was excellent, and we had a delicious floating breakfast for both mornings, sat watching...

「The place is amazing given that it is in the middle of a national forest. If you want to have a real snorkeling experience, book a trip to Menjangan island, and not just by the private jetty. While you will see fish off the jetty, the coral are mostly bleached. This is a beautiful place to reconnect with nature and enjoy the generous balinese hospitality.」

「The host Nino is the best! He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay welcome and also took us to interesting places. He helped us book all our excursions, to Mount Ijen. He took us around town and we got to see places off the tourist path! He also cooks food with his family nearby, and was willing to feed us at any time! 「Our family villa was far from clean, it rather looked like it was left for deconstruction. Bathrooms had a really bad smell like they had not been cleaned. Also many spots on the wall and places in the house where you thought that no real had happened. Although hotel staff and the hotel restaurant were nice, the stay was unpleasant due to the lack of cleanliness.」

「近くに両替できるところもなく、買い物も車で行かないとダメだと着いてから知りました。スタッフさんに相談したところ、代わりに両替してくれたりホテルの仕入れのついでにフルーツを買ってきてくれました。両替などレートも良く、手間賃を払っても元が取れました。レストランの料理も美味しいくて良心的価格なので助かりました。近くの高級ホテルでも食事しましたが、値段の差だけです。ツアーも色々ありジャワ島のイジェン山も行くことができました。バードウオッチングはとんでもない視力のガイドさんが次々に鳥を見つけてくれて楽しめました。ただデンパサール空港から5時間車に乗るのがネックですね。」
