"Terrible service at the hotel’s only bar from a staff person who had zero experience serving food or making cocktails. Since that’s the only place in the hotel to eat and drink, it was a huge disappointment. "

"I booked Nova Hotel JFK through Expedia based on the photos, which looked decent. Unfortunately, the actual experience was very different. I arrived around 10 PM, and as a solo female traveler, I immediately felt uncomfortable with the surrounding area — it felt unsafe and unsettling. The hotel itself did not feel welcoming either. The room was clean, but extremely basic to the point of feeling uncomfortable — metal bed frame, bare walls, and an overall atmosphere that felt more like a cell than a hotel room. There was also a large gap under the door, and since my room was next to the elevator, I could hear everything in the hallway. It was very noisy and I did not feel relaxed or secure. I was unable to sleep and ended up leaving early in the morning. This was honestly one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve had during my travels. I would not stay here again, and I would especially caution solo female travelers to consider other options."
