"A surprisingly well equipped and well conceived property in the south-western region of Uganda. It's very quiet, very well-designed and my wife says it is of European quality - which is a compliment! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. The facilities including gym are way better than in most Ugandan properties. It is a little overpriced and the food is unremarkable BUT if I had to stay near Mbarara and I could get the rate down by 30% this would definitely be my preferred option.We really enjoyed it."

"Lovely stay on top of a hill overlooking Lake Mauro park and the nearby village. Tent rooms are well maintained and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast with a view over the hill is beautiful! The road can be challenging: big potholes and bumps before the maintained final part, which itself is very steep."

"We arrived late in the night and the staff actually picked calls to give us directions and we find the person we had been talking to waiting for us at the entrance. The check-in was smooth. We had challenges with the water heaters on day one, however, when we reported to the staff, they rectified the issue. They have "Katogo" and "Chapati" as options for breakfast. If you are Ugandan you know what that means. The rooms were clean, very spacious and comfy. The gardens are beautiful, and GREEN! They also have cottages if one does not want to stay at the main hotel. All in all, great value for money. "
