Our room was very cozy and we looked forward to coming back to it after long bike rides on the New River rail trail. The staff were very kind and helpful during our stay. I will recommend The Inn at Foster Falls to my friends.

I love its closeness to our happy place…the New River! The fact that it is owned by the Virginia State Parks is an add plus. Dinner and breakfast at the Inn was fantastic!

Super nice place

This place was super nice and clean and intimate and away from everything. The addition of a dining experience was very nice and super good food. Being right at the entrance of the state park was really good. Our only discomfort was probably with the heating and cooling system. Tried for two days to cool the room down on the upper floor and still seemed kinda warm on the hot days. It definitely wasn’t unbearable just a little humid at night. Otherwise this place is a must see for sure and we will definitely be back one day. Thanks for the amazing hospitality and accommodation.

Lovely, quiet respite

Lovely renovated building with completely up-to-date rooms. Breakfast was excellent: cheese eggs, grits, apple cinnamon oatmeal, blueberry mini muffins, cinnamon raisin toast, bagels, yogurt with real fruit, and whole fresh fruit. Way more than you would expect at your usual hotel continental breakfast. We took a stroll around the historic grounds and sat by the New River for a bit. Today we will rent bikes to ride the New River Park Trail. We have vacationed in VA many times, but this is our first stay here. So glad we found it. We would definitely stay here again when visiting this part of VA or passing through.

We stopped here overnight on our way home from the beach, and I wasn’t sure what to expect but upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the Inn. The check in only took a minute, easy parking, and our room was beautiful! In fact, the entire Inn is outstanding. The bedding was soft as were the towels, and everything was spotless. Because we made dinner reservations elsewhere, we did not enjoy dinner at the Inn but the breakfast had a nice variety, was hot and delicious! Check out was simple and we were on our way. I hope to return possibly in the fall when I suspect the foliage will be beautiful!
