"What a fantastic experience it was staying here. Please ask for Indu to pick you up and drive you around in either his spacious van or locally tuk tuk. He also has a small store nearby with a lovely helpful family. He is a gentleman. The host family are just beautiful people. Nothing is too much trouble. "Was a mixed experience, overall nice hotel, good rooms. However our A/C leaked water and dripped down into the bed. The staff helped with a new room in the middle of the night, which sorted it out. It was not optimal, but the staff was very kind!"

"It’s a hidden Gem in Kandy. Wow what an amazing and most inspiring and magical boutiques hotel. We had a Beautiful modern room with a fantastic view of the city . Wish we had another day to spend in this hotel . The staff and manager went out of their way to serve us and beautifully decorated and very homely 👍. Definitely 💯 percent will recommend this magical hotel to my friends and family when they visit Kandy "

"Our overall experience at The Mango was quite positive. The facilities look very nice, our room was clean, staff is friendly and helpful and we had a great dinner on our last night. The only drawback was that it was noisy. When people sit in the restaurant area having a little party, it is difficult to nót be bothered by that when you have a room towards the back of the hotel. So bring your earplugs! Still a great place for backpackers."

"Wi fi was intermittent , not satisfactory. The beds were a little uncomfortable. Enjoyed the walks in the hills. Away from the main city so you have to take tuk tuk."

"This is a very comfortable and clean hotel. The staff are very welcoming and polite. The rooms are lovely and the food is good. Spent a lovely day relaxing by the pool which is very clean. Has come to Kandy for the Perahera and this was an oasis of quiet after the hustle and bustle. I would definitely book to stay here again."

"Staff are absolutely spot on, on the ball, very friendly. The hotel is very clean, rooms have amazing views over the valley. The rooms here were some of my nices on my trip to Sri Lanka. Naughty Monkeys pay a visit occasionally too! Its little put of town but going downhill, ypu can be in the centre of Kandy by walking in 10 mins. Coming back.... get a Tuk tuk! "
