We stayed here for a few days to go to Yala National Park and Hotel Elephant Eye was a great location for taking a SAFARI Tour. The owner is very friendly and the staff are very hardworking. The property is very well maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the restaurant. Easy walk or Tuk tuk to town for restaurants and grocery stores.

This family owned hotel is stunningly beautiful. So many decorative details. The pool and hot tub so inviting. Backyard faces river with monkeys close by.

Perfect location. Walking distance to town, the temples and the lake. Restaurant offered a variety of food choices and the dishes we had were excellent. Amazing pool, outdoor space. Super helpful/friendly staff. Internet very good in room.

A delightful bit of "glamping" right next to the treasure of Yala Park. The "rooms" are comfortable and even air conditioned. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast served on a raised tower overlooking the park.

Rating is based on the fact it is a camp. The staff is great, really friendly and take good care of you. They helped with anything we needed. It is a bit hard to find, but they met us on the road and brought us to the camp site. The location is well kept. Since it is a camp, there are bugs, there are reptiles, but the staff do their best to keep them out of your way. The breakfast was great and very peaceful.

A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food.
Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables.
The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. You...

My dad and I spent two nights in this beautiful hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the check-in to check-out. Property was very well maintained and conveniently located near Kiri vehera and Wadasity kanda.
We had Sri Lankan style breakfast and it was delicious and came in generously large portions. Hotel arranged our Yala safari tour and were willing to pack our breakfast for the early morning trip. I highly recommend Kynrock hotel.
