Hotel is clean and staff were friendly. Short walk from the train station, but a longer walk into Matsue itself and around 30 minutes walk to the castle. Some dining options around the hotel and the area is nice.

Great Place to Stay in Matsue

Great place to stay in Matsue. Super close to the train station, an easy 15-20 min walk to the Castle District. Lots of good restaurants and konbini available nearby. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Hotel is very clean and well-run. A great place to stay.

Great breakfast. The automatic coffee bar actually had GOOD coffee! A plus for this American visitor! Staff were efficient and professional. Most of the restaurants were for reservations only, so it was challenging to find a good place to eat.

Simple and good stay

"Dormy Inn" brand usually keeps spa facility, but this doesn't any. However, for me, it did not matter. It was just simple and good stay. Room was relatively larger than most of Japanese economy hotels with comfortable bath tub.

Great economical choice

The hotel is within walking distance from Matsue station. Conference stores and many restaurants are just near-by. Room was clean, comfortable and large enough with a big luggage. Wi Fi was excellent with more than 100 Mbps constantly. Only catch, if any, would be its new automated check-in/out system. But it must play important role to keep this hotel's price reasonable.

Still the best economy choice in Matsue

I have been staying at this hotel already so far more than 5 times. Even without famous spa as 'Dormy Inn' brand, this hotel can defend its good position in Matsue. I will definitely come back here for my next trip.

Has been my best place to stay in Matsue. There are many bigger, newer, and/or more gorgeous ones. However, if you include reasonable price and convenience, there is no other contender here. Will be back sgain.

Check-in and out now can be done within talking to any human! While I used this hotel several times already, I had to put all the info. Like home address on the automated macine. Hope it can be improoved like Super Hotel.

The hotel recently introduced a machine check-in/out system, which ls not really well connected with hotels.com info. and I had to input my address and phone number. Other economy hotels, like S... , need just my signature. Need to be improoved. But still a good stay.

急な予約でしたが、全て対応が早く気持ちよかったです。部屋も綺麗に清掃されていて、ぐっすり休むことができました。 朝ごはんも色々メニュがあり、度も美味しかったです。スタッフの方もテキパキとされていてよかったです。
