Loved this property. Saverio the owner was so nice and helped us book tour and taxis. There are a few steps to climb but Saverio does the luggage. Breakfast area had the best view. Room was so spacious.

We are a family of 4 with 6 yo and 2yo. The place is magnificent. It is in the center. When you go out the balcony the view is right there. You dont need to go walking around as it is already infront of you. There is a paid parking 5mins away. The caretaker, Claudia, was very nice and friendly. I would love to come back at this place. 1 day wasn't enough.

Perfecte B&B. Prachtige locatie. Mooi verblijf. Vriendelijke ontvangst, behulpzaam.

Fantastic stay in beautiful Matera

A little tricky to locate as so many nooks & crannies in beautiful Matera, but once we found it & got in it was wonderful. The room is beautifully clean & well furnished & we slept so well. Claudia was a wonderful hostess at breakfast and so friendly. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at La Corte Vetere! The location is stunning and full of character—the view from the property is breathtaking, offering a truly unique experience in the heart of Matera. Claudio was an exceptional host: warm, helpful, and always available whenever we needed anything. The property was clean, comfortable, and full of charm. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Matera!
