"The Parador of Mazagon is a building a few kilometers away from the town centre, with a private access to the public beach. Like most paradores, the decoration may look a bit dated, but the quality of the service, the fantastic food and specially its friendly and helpful staff really go the extra mile. Plus, the swimming pool terrace and its views from the sea are simply fantastic. The beach is great, but beware the long stairs up on the way back."
