"We had an initial problem of the reception desk being closed and no answer on the phone number provided. We eventually got through to someone by email but we were worried that we would have to find somewhere else to stay! Once we finally got our key our room was absolutely wonderful. Big doors opening onto the beach and sea and what a view! The room was super clean, well stocked with toiletries and we adored the record player and records left for us. "I’ve never stayed at a better and cleaner Motel in my life. There is a special charm and cleanliness to the rooms and it feels very comfortable and at home. Minus the no breakfast and only. Minus the seasonal pool, I cannot complain about anything for the reasonable price. "

"Great location on water by ferry and bus. Useful small kitchens. Shared deck. Walls thin. Could use blackout curtains. Helpful staff. Rocco’s pizza and Black Dog Tavern close and good! Be aware VH does not sell booze in town except in bars and restaurant. Must go to other towns to purchase. Great trip!"
