What a wonderful gem of a place to stay. The host were kind, informative and truly wonderful people. The room was spacious, best wifi to date on our 15 day trip around Italy. The locals are so nice and the breakfast was delicious

We wanted at least a solid day to relax in a smaller town away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the bigger Italian cities that we would also be visiting! I wanted to meet and experience locals who actually lived a quieter, more relaxed Italian lifestyle! I got what I wanted here! The Cottage B&B is not big city “fancy,” but it was very clean, the host was very friendly and helpful, the little outside patio was great for reading and relaxing, and the little neighborhood village square of Monticcio was a super easy, very close and flat walk from the Cottage B&B! In our mid 70’s, we weren’t sure how we would actually be able to navigate the area which is located high up in the hills! The neighborhood square of Monticcio turned out to be no more than an easy 5 minute walk, and lead us to some good gelato, and several options for local restaurants. In fact, we ate twice at what might have been our favorite restaurant on this trip, Yago! And to find a restaurant of this quality in this quiet, little town, was a such an amazing surprise! We navigated this trip to Italy without renting a car, and stayed here for just 2 nights at the tail end of our trip, so I cannot review how this location would work as a base for actually exploring the Sorrento and Amalfi area, but we certainly enjoyed our stay at IL Cottage B& B given the goal we had set for enjoying a quiet, relaxing respite before we headed home! Thank you Giuseppe for your very friendly welcome and hospitality!

We are family of 4 stay 2 nights. Very friendly couple, helpful to book our Capres tours ,Excellent Breakfast, these are the Pros, Only cons we have the Location, little far from Sorento , 45 Mn Bus ride , little remote areas, but Price is Reasonable so it os ok if you can manage it.

Un acierto alojarse aquí, no te arrepentirás

El sitio está algo alejado de las zonas más turísticas (aún así en coche se llega muy rápido), pero es más barato, así que compensa.Tiene parking gratis. El desayuno está rico, es completo. La habitación era grande, limpia, cómoda, todo bastante nuevo. Tenía una terraza con un tendedero que nos vino muy bien. Se puede ir andando a comer al pueblo, por muy buen precio.

Ottima esperienza!

Il soggiorno è stato molto positivo. La camera doppia è spaziosa, con un materasso comodo. La colazione è buona e la posizione della struttura è molto tranquilla (il mare dista circa 15 min di auto). C'è il posto auto interno (molto utile in queste zone). La proprietaria, la signora Rita, è molto gentile e disponibile e regala suggerimenti preziosi su cosa visitare e sulle escursioni che è possibile effettuare in loco. B&B davvero consigliato!

La struttura e' nuova, le stanze sono ampie i sevizi buoni efunzionanti, si parcheggi asenza problemi e questo nella zona in questione e' un indubbio vantaggio. Posizione vicina in macchina ai luoghi di interesse (spiaggie, paesini e passeggiate da fare), la colazione ricca buona e varia, la padrona di casa cordiale gentile e disponibile a fornire tutte le indicazioni di cui avete bisogno. Insomma un giudizio veramente positivo.

Lovely experience!!

Check in was super smooth, and the lady at check in was super friendly! She gave us information about what we could see/eat in the area, and also provided us with a beautiful breakfast. My family would love to stay here again if we ever get the chance!

Ideal pour visiter Capri ou la côte Amalfitaine!

Excellent accueil du propriétaire! Avec des conseils sur les restaurants (très bon conseil d'ailleurs!) et ce qu'il y a à proximité. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Il y a une terrasse privative par laquelle on peut sortir pour aller au parking qui est abrité. Le B and B est très bien indiqué avec des panneaux sur la route (bravo!). Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec tout pour repartir en forme (fruits,croissants,...) Emplacement idéal si vous souhaitez faire la côte Amalfitaine ou encore visiter l'île de Capri. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil si sympathique!

Almafi

We arrived at night after driving a very winding road. Thank you gps without it we would not have found it. When we arrived the staff told us they did not have a reservation for us but through the use of google translate and body language they were able to help us. Since they didn't have room for us they were able to call on another hotel to take us for the night at the price quoted on the reservation. The ladies were heaven sent. We did not get to stay at the cottage but will definitely book it on another trip and arrive in the daytime to take in the views going up into this breathtaking pkace
