「We loved (almost) everything about our guesthouse experience. We appreciated the overall aesthetic - creative and thoughtful design centered on sustainable products and practices. 「The room was perfectly fine for the price. I checked thoroughly and everything was clean. The onsite parking was nice, staff were polite. Things to be aware of: *As the other reviews noted, they do require a $50 *cash* deposit. 「The hotel is nice and conveniently located near John Hopkins University. However, the city of Baltimore is economically depressed and full of graffiti and vacant properties. There were a few homeless people oitside sleeping on the sidewalk. The hotel is nice - and likely one of the best in the city. But the town needs help. No need to go outside. They had a nice jazz band playing when we arrived. Bed was comfy. 」

「Very friendly and helpful staff who are genuinely interested in helping and greeting guests. Feels like the atmosphere of a B&B with friendly conversations. Nice water view in spacious 2 Queen beds room and quiet ambience within walking distance to excellent dinning options. Onsite secured paid self parking is right at the front of the hotel.
