"My husband and I took an overnight trip for a show at The Gruene Hall and decided to stay at Hacienda Del Rio. From the moment we checked in we were asked if we wanted a welcome cocktail! Our room was great and the bed was so comfy. Hard to get out of bed though!!! We didn’t want to leave!!! They had a great Happy Hour and breakfast items. They even have a pool and outdoor activities. Overall very great and relaxing experience for us!!! Excited to come back maybe in summer to put the pool and activities to use. Very friendly staff! Our trip was not long enough!"

"Nice clean rooms. Clean lobby. Very thin walls though—we were on second floor and could hear TV and conversation in next room. Coffee/hot chocolate machine in lobby wonderful. Location right next to 35N. Overall stay was pleasant and affordable. "

"No issues with property. Need a refund for my room because Expedia charged me $250 to change my date and never changed it with the hotel so we did not have a room when we got there. Had to spend another $200 to purchase a room with hotel directly. Will never use Expedia again! "
