Fantastic view, great breakfast!

This was an amazing place. The terrace overlooking Marseille and the garden was beautiful. The breakfast on the terrace was fantastic. The owners were so nice. We highly recommend.

Our hosts were very kind and accommodating. The room itself was clean and beautiful with a great shower. Breakfast was excellent and parking was very convenient in a secure area. They went above and beyond to assist us and we appreciate it very much.

We were in a brilliant 2 bedroom property, a lovely outside area with a great view of the city of Marcelles. We had a wonderful breakfast left for us to wake up to each morning.

Although Le Clos du Jas served merely as a pit stop in France (we were returning to Lisbon from Marseille), we would definitely stay again if/when we return to this region. Having stayed along the coast in Cassis and La Ciotat a few days prior, we enjoyed the inland drive of the National route which provided different views of the French countryside of Aubagne and Allauch. What was most impressive (other than the property and amenities themselves) was the concise and clear communication from the host. Although only in French, Nicole provided details regarding directions, access and what to expect upon arrival. This was a wonderful learning experience as it mirrored a challenging scavenger hunt…with a quest to solve the hints to the entrance. Once settled, we were able to relax and acclimate in a clean, well designed home that provided the French chateau-like feel we were hoping to encounter. Securely gated, we felt safe and comfortable and would definitely stay again if/when we return to Marseille or anywhere in southern France. Merci 🇫🇷

Mooie moderne kamer en terras met uitzicht over de

Super mooi verblijf. Kamer is modern ingericht met hele mooie douche en separaat toilet. Je krijgt ook toegang tot het terras, met weids uitzicht over de stad Marseille. Het hotel is gelegen op een van de heuvels buiten de stad, wat het verblijf erg aangenaam maakt. Parkeren op eigen terrein, achter een hek, dus erg veilig.

The hidden gem of Marseille

We had an amazing weekend in Marseille, much thanks to our hosts and the great Le Clos du Jas. It was all we could ask for, in a beautiful setting, wonderful view and comfortable rooms. We recommend this to anyone that want to enjoy Marseille and be able to get away from the city after a day downtown. We will definately come back!

Tout simplement exceptionnel. Magnifique emplacement, situé dans les hauteurs de Marseille, quartier privilegié. Logement indépendant dans une annexe situé sur le terrain d'une très belle propriété. Logement constitué de deux chambres (2 locations donc) avec sdb et WC dans chaque chambre, un séjour et cuisine en commun. Terasse avec superbe vue sur la ville. C' est spacieux, décoré avec goût, calme. Il y a tout l'équipement nécessaire. Petit déjeuner excellent et copieux servi sur place. Et enfin, les hôtes sont charmants et fort aimables. Prestation rare.

La seule adresse exemplaire à Marseille...

Isolé dans les hauteurs, c’est un havre de calme, de propreté et la gentillesse des propriétaires : ce qui m’a fait oublier que j’étais à Marseille... avec en plus un petit déjeuner copieux et préparé que moi sur la terrasse et une superbe vue sur la Méditerranée! Alors que j’étais en déplacement professionnel, je me suis surpris le temps d’une nuit à me croire en vacances.

Excellent stay in Le Clos du Jas!

I can only praise the "Le Clos du Jas". It was amazing. Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, clean and air conditioned. There was also a kitchen and a dining room. Outside there was a terrace with a really great view and a beautiful garden. We were warmly welcomed and we were even offered a hot dinner after our long journey. For breakfast there were three homemade jams, baguette, orange juice, coffee, tea, cheese, cereal, yogurt and every day another surprise such as pancakes. It was delicious! The owners were very friendly and gave us restaurant recommendation (the pizza was very good!). We will definitely recommend the hostel and come back for sure!

Perfect for a quiet retreat away from the hussle and bussle of the City but within easy reach. Views were beautiful from the terrace area and the rooms spacious and clean. The owners had gone to a great deal of effort to make this property unique and homely. breakfast laid out for us on the terrace was excellent. Highly recommend Le Clos du Jas.
