The location is fantastic, can’t be beaten. The room was basic but comfortable, with very nice bedding and towels. Most of all, the hostess and host were charming and helpful.

The hotel is very near the bustling center of old port. Vieux Port. Lots of reataurant and shopping options. Transportation is close by easily used and reasonably priced. The hotel is owned by a very nice lady and her son and daughter help out. The staff is attentive, helpful and very friendly.

The good: Excellent owner/reception, so sweet and kind. Fantastic, soft large towels and probably the cleanest sheets and bed in France (I've seen a few). The Bad: The only thing I can say is that it's an older French building, as such the floors are out of level but nothing dangerous Overall, my best stay in Marseille. you can't beat the location/price (value) combo.

Excellent location minutes from the port. Good for shirt stay but minuscule room with no a/c on top floor (no elevator, 3 flights of stairs) uncomfortable at night during hot season despite fan in room. TV was broken on arrival and couldn't be fixed until the end of our stay. Very kind and friendly proprietor, very good wifi, small but fully functional bathroom. Bed was rather small for 2. Good value overall because of location if you're on a tight budget but no more.

The room was very nice, has a fridge. The bed was so comfortable.The only issue which we had was air-conditioning which didn't work as they had some technical issue at that time but they provide us with a fan. Staff very friendly and helpful and localisation is right in a center

Overall a nice stay

The hotel is really well located! Only 2 minutes far from the Vieux Port. The staff is also available to open the front door when came late at night (1am -there is no badge or code to enter the front door if it's locked). The room was a nice and spacious enough for two people. The bed was great as well. The bathroom was small and narrow but it was not a problem for us. Overall, the room was clean, but I think the sealant in the bathroom needs to be redone. For the price we paid for two person, it was worth it.

This was a perfect stay for our time in Marseilles! It is a very very short walk from public train and bus. It is a stone throw away from the absolutely stunning marina. It is a easy bus ride to an amazing public beach with beautiful sand. The restaurants are plentiful and no more than a 2 block walk. There are several in fact immediately around the square where the hotel is situated. There is a Laundromat literally around the corner. Like 3 businesses away. This place had everything we wanted or needed. It said that towels were not provided, but they were. We did ask for a second towel and got it. And they did a spruce up on our second day✨, which wasn't expected. We loved being in the heart of everything! Highly recommend this place! NOT handicap accessible. Lots of stairs. Comfortable beds and someone is there 24 hrs a day.

Very close to The Old Port, with many restaurants and patios. Thursday night the locals dancing in the opera yard out front was nice (ending at 23:15 hrs). The next nights there was loud commotion most of the night…not so nice. Also, climbing 53 steps on the spiral staircase with our large suitcases was not ideal.

Stay was okay but not what I expected. Room was small, very basic, noisy, and a bit run down. Advertised as a hotel but actually a guesthouse, which felt misleading. Surrounding area was lovely and the host was great, but overall I expected better.

Great place to visi Marseille. In front of the Opera, 3 minutes away from the Vieux-Port - Hôtel de ville metro and the L'OmbriÈRe De Norman Foster. Amazing position location and very nice hostes! The room is basic but has everything you need for a weekend! If we'll come to Marseille we already know where to stay!
