We really enjoyed our experience in this riad for 4 nights. Hanan was lovely and prepared breakfast for us every day and even took care of our laundry and cleaned all the rooms and showers every day. The location was a 6-7 min walk from the main square which was great. While the walk felt a little shady the first night, all the riads are in narrow lanes. We enjoyed the hot tub and terrace. Only thing is that in Moroccan style some of the showers have no glass doors , so you need to be careful of that. Towels could have been slightly better quality given that it is a 4 star. Overall, we had an amazing experience and made our Marrakech trip extremely memorable. The kids said the riad was the best part of the trip.

Ho soggiornato al Riad Étoile d’Oriente a Marrakech e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente meravigliosa. Tutto era davvero bello e curato nei minimi dettagli: dall’atmosfera accogliente agli spazi arredati con gusto, si percepisce subito un ambiente caldo e familiare che ti fa sentire come a casa. Un punto di forza è sicuramente il servizio hammam, eccellente e rilassante, perfetto per concedersi un momento di benessere totale. Anche la cucina è stata una piacevole sorpresa: piatti deliziosi, preparati con cura e ricchi di sapori autentici. Il personale è sempre stato gentile e disponibile, contribuendo a creare quell’atmosfera intima e accogliente che rende il soggiorno ancora più speciale. Sembrava davvero di stare in famiglia. Consiglio vivamente questo riad a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza autentica e rilassante nel cuore di Marrakech.

Less than 80 metres from the Souks main street and only a 5 minutes walk to The Place where all the action is. Clean location and friendly staff. Parking is a 7 minute walk.

A beautiful and peaceful Riad with amazing staff. The staff were very attentive and helped ease the shock of our first day in Morocco. They gave us some great advice and directions. We had dinner one night at the Riad. It was amazing food.

Great little boutique hotel in the Medina. It’s located right in the square where all the shops are. The customer service and staff was excellent. The staff really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable it felt like home. I left one of my bags at the hotel and the driver brought it to the airport for me so I wouldn’t miss my flight. I really appreciated that. The food was good and authentic. I would stay there again.

We've just returned from a fantastic trip to Marrakech, thanks in no small part to the staff at this riad. My friend stayed here a few months ago and recommended it, and I'm so glad he did. It's right in the Medina, and about a two minute walk from the main square (this can be 10-15 minutes if it's busy: think people, buggies, mopeds, carts, kids, all jostling through, to eat, to shop. Great fun). I'd recommend arranging ahead of time for the riad to collect you from the airport. We found our bearings once there but I think it'd have been pretty overwhelming to try on that first day with luggage. The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful and cool, though rooms have climate control so you can adjust the temperature. I did blast a bit of heat in the evening as it was still quite cool. We stayed in two rooms as they 'upgraded' us for four nights while a bigger room was empty. Other reviews have said the mattresses are hard. I'd say firm, rather than hard. Perfectly comfortable, in both rooms (Dana and Giana). Dana was much smaller but beautiful. Giana was much more comfortable as it was more spacious, but no better quality as both were wonderful. My other half thought Giana was noisier as closer to the thoroughfare but that was nothing earplugs didn't fix. You'll hear the call to prayer too but again, you don't come to Marrakech for peace and quiet. Both rooms had international television channels though the reception was hit and miss. Excellent from start to the end. Stayed 8 people in the Deluxe Villa (green one with jacuzzi). Tired after the trip we had booked dinner in the riad. It was fine, and the service was good. Maybe not worth the price but super nice when you are tired after a long trip. Really liked this and would stay again.

Quiet, clean, beautiful. Staff are incredible. They gave us a wonderful welcome, were very friendly faces throughout our stay and gave us our breakfast in to go containers when they heard we had an early day at Ait Ben Haddou the next day. We felt we could come to the desk with any and every question! Our room was also perfect: beautifully decorated, great amenities, pristine and peaceful. They also have a cat called Mimi! Overall, 10. I can't praise this place enough - there was nothing needing improvement.

This riad was wonderful, situated in the Marrakech Medina. Close to all the action, but inside the space is quiet and relaxing, with a charming courtyard and rooftop restaurant. Ismail, Azedine, and Ayman were all so kind and thoughtful, the perfect hosts.
