Landed here for a couple of days early before my tour through Morocco to relax away the jet lag. They were so nice and helpful. The food was tastey and it was quiet here so I could rest.

This hotel has its charms but also major drawbacks

This hotel has its charms but also major drawbacks. Positives: Host Fatiha is incredibly responsive, which was especially helpful with our young child - she even arranged a taxi with a car seat. The Atlas Mountain views are stunning, and the hotel grounds are beautiful, featuring peacocks and tortoises. The traditional architecture adds to its charm. If you’re looking for a quiet, immersive Moroccan family experience with little distraction, this could be the perfect escape. Negatives: The food was disappointing. Given that bringing outside food is prohibited and there are no nearby restaurants or shops, the limited menu quickly became repetitive. The cocktails were tasteless and overpriced, and the meals were far from Michelin-worthy, often overcooked and dominated by a single flavour. The Bastila, for example, had tough chicken and an overwhelming amount of cinnamon. Service was lacking; we were never proactively offered drinks, towels, or even room cleaning - we had to ask for everything, which made us feel like a burden. The gym was virtually non-existent, the rooms needed a deep clean (we even found a cockroach in our bed), and the pool area had an unpleasant smell due to the animals. We stayed during a quiet period, which may have influenced our experience, but overall, we were disappointed and left a night early. While Fatiha and her husband apologised, the compensation offered was minimal.

Io non saprei neanche da dove iniziare. Lo faccio semplicemente dicendo "grazie". Questa struttura si trova a 30 minuti di taxi dal centro caotico di Marrakekh, raggiungibile con taxi al costo di 20 Euro per tratta. Il resort viene gestito a livello familiare e curato in ogni dettaglio dalla Signora Fatiha. Lei e suo marito sono disponibili, educato e sempre pronti a risolvere ogni tipo di problema. Il menu già ricco di suo può essere modificato in base alle esigenze. Allora, il posto è un oasi di verde, con tanto di animali e ortaggi, che poi finiscono semplicemente nel vostro piatto. Dal latte che berrete nel vostro cappuccino, alle verdure utilizzate per la cucina. Il cibo viene servito ancora in cottura sul vostro tavolo, e considerati gli standard africani, è un luogo dove ci si riposa, rilassa e si sta davvero bene. Ho trovato un luogo dove ritornare e dopo portare membri della mia famiglia e/o amici. Credetemi, andate e non vi pentirete. In genere non scrivo queste cose, ma sono davvero felice di essere andato e spero presto di ritornare. Grazie di cuore Ksar Salha ❤️
