highly recommended

Staff if helpful and nice. The tours suggested by the host to essaouira and Sahara were great. Comfy and spacey room and public area. Near big square within 5 mins walk.

Riad fermé pour travaux !!!

Énorme surprise à notre arrivée : le riad est fermé pour travaux et pas des petits... Il y a des échafaudages, des graves et des ouvriers partout !!! Réservation validée en janvier sur Expédia mais Riad vendu en février et en travaux au moins jusqu'à la fin de l'année !!! Heureusement que sommes arrivés à 18h et que nous étions à notre 4eme voyage à Marrakech et avons pu trouver une solution sinon nos vacances auraient pu tourner au cauchemar ! POURQUOI N'AVONS NOUS PAS ÉTÉ PRÉVENUS AVANT ???

Good hotel inside old town, but tricky to find.

Nice location in the old city of Marrakech. The souks are easily accessible from the hotel. However hotel is hard to find since it is hidden in a lane. Local will guide but expect to pay a small fee. Cars must be left outside the city gate, about 400m away. Parking is not easy.

Ein wunderbares Riad-Hotel im Herzen der Medina

Meine Frau und ich haben zusammen mit unseren vier Kindern einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Hotel Dar Naima erleben dürfen, was vor allem an der herzlichen Betreuung durch Herrn Assis, die gute Seele des Hauses, sowie seinen Mitarbeiterinnen lag. Unaufdringlich, aber IMMER da, wenn man sie brauchte, mit hilfreichen Ratschlägen und vielen guten Taten. Klar gibt es in Marrakesch Häuser mit mehr Ausstattungsmerkmalen - aber das, was das Hotel auf seiner Internetseite verspricht, hält es nicht nur, sondern überrascht immer wieder positiv durch zusätzliche Details. Angefangen von einem wunderbaren Frühstück, über Services wie Wäschewaschen und kostenfreien WLAN, einem vollkommen ausreichenden Tauchbecken in einem der zwei Innenhöfe bis hin zur Tatsache, dass die Klimaanlage auch im Hochsommer das riesige Zimmer mühelos auf die gewünschte Tempereratur brachte: Alles trug zu einem harmonischen Gesamtbild bei. Im Nachgang zu vier Wochen Urlaub in ganz Marokko waren wir uns einig, dass das Dar Naima mit Abstand das beste Gesamtpaket an Übernachtungsleistung geboten hatte. Und für alle, die - wie wir - mit dem eigenen Auto unterwegs sind: Das Parken auf dem bewachten Parkplatz an der Koutoubia-Moschee hat bei uns alle Tage vollkommen sicher funktioniert.

Good Location and Price

We were given a Suite for 4 people, 2 Adults and 2 Children. The master bedroom led to the children then followed to split into a toilet and a bathroom with a tub and basin with another shower cubical. The master room had the only air condtioner which ment we had to adjuct the childrens bed into our room because it was very hot. We visited in August which is the peak of their summer. The room had a skyline directly over the room light shade which became annoying because i'm not an morning person. the room lacked a mini fridge.

Very nice Riyad in the middle on the soukhs. 3 min. walk to Jemaa al-fna. The WiFi only works on the ground floor and is quite slow, but stable. The pool is rather useless as its on the ground floor, where there is no sun. The staff is absolutely amazing. Breakfeast was served at whatever time that suited you. For us that ranged from 6:30am to 11am. They always asked us if we wanted anything and they were very helpfull with whatever enquiries we had although you have to depend on French when talking with them. For the money paid, it was a very good stay, would definitely recommend.

En perle af et hotel med fantastisk beliggenhed

Vi besøgte Dar Naima i påsken 2016 og havde en dejlig ferie. Hotellet ligger helt perfekt i centrum med fine restauranter lige i nærheden, 100 meter fra souken og væk fra larmen på den store plads. Værelset var stort og hyggeligt og hotellets gård og tagterrasse er skønne i alt slags vejr. Særligt de ansatte gjorde oplevelsen god. Alle fra direktøren, over altmuligmanden til kokken gjorde oplevelsen på Dar Naima uforglemmelig. De var alle utroligt søde, hjælpsomme og dygtige. Vi blev rådgivet om alt fra dagsture og restauranter, til drikkepenge og hæveautomater. Middagen på hotellet var den bedste vi havde på rejsen og kan varmt anbefales. Hotellet samarbejder med et rejsebureau vi brugte flere dage. Det var absolut værd at bruge et par dage i samarbejde med en venlig chauffør, der kompetent viste os rundt i Atlas bjergene og på grænsen til ørkenen. Alt i alt kan vi ikke anbefale Dar Naima nok. Et hotel vi helt sikkert både vil anbefale til andre og selv vende tilbage til.

La chambre était un peu petite par rapport à une salle de bain très grande, mais le riad est agréable, le gérant tres professionnel. La localisation est intéressante car à 5 minutes de la place. Je recommande.

Nice Small Hotel close to Jama Al Fanaa

I stayed with my wife and son for 7 days.it was my first visit to Marrakech and stayed at Dar Naima.it is a nice small and afordable riyad (hotel).The manager ILyas is a very nice and helpfull person. The staff Aziz and his wife are very hospitable people. Overall our visit was very comfortable. Indoor Swimming pool had cold water only be used in summer. its more of a giant tub.

Sehr sauber und ruhig in super Lage

Das Haus liegt perfekt mitten in der Medina. Nur 50m bis zu den ersten Souks. Der nächste Bankomat liegt direkt auf dem Weg zum nahe gelegenen Djemaa El Fna. Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, das Personal sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber.

Beautiful riad, findable location

We stayed here for two nights at the start of our two week trip and the final night at the end. Good location, short walk from one of the main gates to the medina, so not hard to find. We were given a warm welcome, some mint tea and a map, all you need! The courtyards are beautiful, and a good breakfast is served under the orange trees, fragrantly in blossom while we were there. Unfortunately, the restaurant/s weren't operational, nor was the hammam, when we stayed in February (probably an off-season thing, as in other places we stayed)so shouldn't really advertise this. Still, lovely rooms both times we stayed and we felt welcomed back by the lovely Aziz, who was always on hand to help or advise (in French). A lovely riad in a good location, would recommend overall.

Det har været et godt ophold på Dar Naima. Dog frøs vi den første nat uden dyner og havde ikke fået tændt for varmen. Der er koldt i fællesarealerne i stueetagen, hvor der er morgenmad og aftensmad, hvis man har bestilt det. Personalet er meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Der er en fantastisk terasse. Jeg kan anbefale det, man skal bare have godt med tøj med i februar måned og sørge for at tænde for varmen, så man ikke fryser. Vi blev hentet som aftalt i lufthavnen, alle aftaler blev overholdt.

Fijne plek met hele aardige mensen.

Dar Naima had een authentieke uitstraling en een perfecte ligging, heel rustig en toch vlakbij de souks en Jamaa el Fna.De mensen van Dar Naima waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, het was er schoon en het dakterras bood uitzicht over heel Marrakech en de bergen. Minpuntje was het ontbreken van verwarming in de ontbijtruimte en de kamer,maar er werd ons meteen nadat we daarover iets hadden gezegd een elektrisch kacheltje aangeboden! Wat ook heel leuk was, was de welkomstmail van de ( nederlandse) mede-eigenaresse met handige tips.Al met al hebben we hier een paar heerlijke dagen gehad en ons zeer welkom gevoeld en komen we heel graag nog eens terug!

Great Riad in Marrakech

We spend 2 days in a group of 10 friends in that very centrally located Riad in the Medina in Marakech. The couple who run that Riad provided us great tips where to go and what to do. My room had a great bathroom in moroccan style.

first time in town

This place is a place to stay to be in the centre of town and doesn't have the usual facilities of a bar or large pool or Evan fantastic WiFi but what it douse have is a great character ,charm and the ability to walk out the door and be absorbed into the local life plus the normal tourist sites ,very quiet other than the call to prayers ,for couples its great ,families and singles visit only

Leuk, kleinschalig hotel

Dar Naima is een leuk en kleinschalig hotel. Het personeel van Naima is vriendelijk, eerlijk en betrouwbaar. (ik had wat geld verloren en dat kwamen ze netjes terugbrengen). Zeer behulpzame mensen. Ik zou er zo weer heen gaan maar dan in een andere periode. Ik heb het comfort als minder beoordeeld omdat het eten gebeurt in de centrale ruimte waar het nogal fris was. de ruimte is niet verwarmd en in de maand december is het dan best koud/fris. Al met al een fijne ervaring.

le sejour a ete agreable en general , mais je ne suis restée que 4 nuits , je passais beaucoup de temps dehors heureusement car , pour les personnes qui sont a la recherche de detente et de calme ce n est pas l endroit ideal , ce ryad est tres bruyant , il ya des enfants qui pleurent , et un vacarme causé par le personnel surtout tres tot le matin, cest un personnel pas souriant et mal organisé....j ai remarqué qu il n yavait aucune communication entre les proprietaires et les clients , (meme si notre probleme de chambre a ete reglé a notre arrivée , tout en gardant le meme tarif) je les remercie, mais ne comptez pas sur eux pour vous orienter dans vos visites touristiques , ou de vous donner des idees et de vous demander comment votre sejour s est passé! mais sinon le ryad est tres bien placé.

Riad très agréable excepté la chambre ilham que nous avons occupée qui se situe au RDC près de l'accueil donc très bruyante, chambre trop petite et qui aurait besoin d'un bon rafraichissement ! Le hammam n'était pas opérationnel ! La terrasse non plus ! Dommage car il faisait très beau ! Accueil très moyen
