The hotel building itself needs a lot of repair. The lobby across from the hotel where they serve breakfast was nice, updated, and clean. You have to drive or walk across the parking lot to eat breakfast.

Technically a few miles outside Munising but still convenient to everything. The hotel is well maintained and clean with nicely appointed rooms with plenty of space. There is no elevator for the second floor rooms so if you have trouble with stairs, ask for a ground floor room ahead of time. Morning breakfast area is very nice and you won’t go hungry! Staff is pleasant and very accommodating! Our go-to stay when visiting the part of the Michigan U.P.!

Arrived early 130 ish on motorcycle, was denied early check in and wouldn’t hold my big bag for even after they saw I had a reservation. Very poor customer service. The same happened to a couple that arrived 2 up on motorcycle. Short staffed? When checking into my room, they never refilled the soap dispenser and the floor felt dirty. The breakfast room had non functioning water filter device, and served typical continental. Overall for the padded seasonal price the stay was Good Enough. Jerome at front desk made efforts to be friendly.

Well, we had a hard time really knowing where to check in. But we figured it out. Its an old Motel. Two floors. I think the ones were were in, were the older ones. Maybe the ones on the other side were nicer. Our room was clean and big. beds are OLD, but were fine for one night. The walk way to our room I felt was a bit sketch. You access the room by a long wooded "deck" covered in green carpet. It definitely needs an inspection. We did not eat breakfast but only because we dont eat breakfast. I did grab a yogurt tho:) It is a great room for one night, I dont think id stay longer then that,
