"I would stay here over and over again. It was perfect. Great location - close to town and the main road. We had a river view room that didn’t disappoint. The staff that greeted us were very friendly and helpful. It was clean, quiet, and allowed us to disconnect and appreciate the outdoors. A free bag of wood is provided to build a fire - which we didn’t do because we were constantly on the go. The shower was amazing and had a heated floor! Felt so nice on a cool morning. Beds/pillows were comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom for 4 adults and it never felt crowded. Bonus - we saw several elk hanging about! Highly recommend, you won’t regret it. Plus you are helping to support a lovely community that needs it, especially after the 2024 wildfire."

"The staff were excellent. The management was not. The gas fire pit which allowed you to sit together outside in the autumn air did not work. The hot tub did not properly function. The bar did not stock bourbon or tonic. They had complimentary coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby but when we went to eat breakfast ($25 for an omelette) they did not let us bring in the coffee we were drinking. The nightly charge was $500 per night. We got one hour use of a canoe during our three night stay. It seems like they were trying to squeeze every penny from us in addition to our nightly rate. Lastly our traveling companion’s room was plagued with rodents. Five were trapped during two nights of their three night stay. It’s apparently a known but undisclosed issue. They then set six traps in the room the last night and while they heard rodents scurrying in the fire place all night, no additional rodents were trapped. They did comp them a breakfast and one night stay which, in my view, was inadequate."
