Stayed here for a short break as attending a wedding nearby. Family of 5 - mum, dad, kids (13 & 17) and nan. Stayed in duplex apartment. Was on 3rd floor which we weren't expecting for a 2 story apartment. Lift wasn't the best. Apartments and bedrooms lovely and spacious, although lighting in bedroom not ideal when trying to use mirror to get ready. But these are just little things. The location was brilliant- quiet but easily walkable. The complex itself was beautiful. And the staff were fantastic and incredibly helpful. Thank you to Ramazan, Adem, Jayden and Jo for making us feel so welcome! Donna

A hidden oasis of calm and beauty in Turunç !

Our 6-day stay at Dores Residence was truly great. This hotel is a tranquil place to relax around a lovely pool surrounded by greenery and beautiful palms. Just beyond are scenic hills with impressive rock cliffs which offer that added feeling of quiet serenity. The Dores staff were always accommodating to all our needs, often going out of their way to offer that little bit extra touch to make our stay even more pleasant. The staff running the restaurant and pool bar/eatery were flexible and ready to prepare whatever we needed. Our Duplex Suite (double-bed room plus a room with 3 single beds) was spacious and clean with a kitchen equipped with everything that we needed. The 3 ACs in the suite were modern, quiet and efficient models. The furniture, bathroom and finishings were all of a very high standard too. In particular, the beds were all very comfortable, which is so important for a pleasant holiday! The hotel is just a 5-minute stroll to the bustling life of Turunç with an abundant choice of restaurants and bars, beachfront recliners and shops. Turunç town is the perfect size for a calm holiday away from the large resorts and crowds. A true gem in southwestern Turkey. Dores Residence is the perfect place for young families that want to experience their precious holiday at their own pace and schedule.

The hidden gem in Turunc!

A hidden gem in Turunc! The manager, we called Mr H was amazing, nothing was impossible for anything you needed at anytime of day. We arrived around midnight and was made immediately welcome. He made our holiday perfect and always happy to help. Everything was perfectly clean. The location was 5 minutes walk for many beachfront bars and restaurants. Recommend the boat trips for amazing views of coastline.

3 çocuk 2 yetişkin olarak 5 kişi aile odasında kaldık. Odalar temiz, konforlu. Yemek yapabiliyorsunuz. Herşey var. Otelin hemen yanında A101 var. Çalışanlar ilgili ve iyiler. Lokasyon olarak bilmeniz gerekenler var. Bu otel tam Marmaris’te değil. Arabayla tehlikeli denilebilecek 15-20 dalikalık virajlı bir dağ yoluyla ulaşilabiliyor. Çok dikkatlı olunmalı. Manzaraya dalıp dikkatsızlık yapılmamalı. Otelin çevresi çok güzel, denize bir kaç dakika. merkezden uzak, sessiz sakin bir yerde kalmak isteyenler rahatlıkla tercih edebilirler.

Pool closed.

The owners of Dores are very kind and welcoming. The apartment had a balcony and pretty much everything you need for self-catering. We chose this property because of the pool. We knew there may be more stringent C-19 lockdown procedures introduced (which they were), so we thought we could lay by the pool and read if that was the case. That's where the stay fell apart. The pool was not in use although this was not mentioned at the time of booking. This meant we really had nowhere to go and not much to do because the beaches are really not that great in Turunc. We left after 2 days. Had the pool been open it would have been a different story and I really think guests should be told if it's closed.

The approach to the Dores Residence is disappointing, it is a poorly lit unmade road, however, when you enter the property it is a quite impressive first impression with a nice pool and surrounds. The appartment is on two floors, downstairs is a lounge, dining room, toilet and kitchen with dish washer, large fridge freezer and washing machine. Upstairs two bedrooms to sleep 5 and a bathroom. Up and down with very efficient air conditioning. The property is in Turunc NOT Marmaris.

Lovely hotel.

Fantastic hotel this.Everything about it was excellent.The food/price/pool/garden area and staff all wonderful.Wifi in our room was a little hit and miss,but faultless in pool area and reception. Will definitely stay rgere again if we return to Turunc,although didnt enjoy the nightmare of a drive across the miuntain from Icmeler....that was an experience in itself🙄

Turunç Marmarisin sakin ama huzur dolu cennetlerinden birisi.. Bu sirin tatil bölgesinden aldığınız keyfi katlayabileceğiniz son derece sevimli,şık ve konforlu bir apart otel Dores.. 5 kişilik ailemle kaldığımız oda, son derece temiz,düzenli ve otelin pek çok yerinde oldugu gibi özen ve kalite ile döşenmişti.Mutfakta buzdolabı,ocak,çaycı,bulaşık makinesi,ekmek kızartma vs her detay vardı.Tek eleştirebileceğim şey kullanım için yalnızca 5 er adet çatal bıçak tabak bulunmasıydı.Bir de yemek pişirmek için tava tencere vb gereçlerde çeşitlilik artırılırsa daha iyi olur. Personel gayet ilgili ve samimiydi.Çıkış yapana kadar saygılarından ve güleryüzlerinden bir eksilme görmedim.Kahvaltısı ücretli ancak çeşitlilik yeterli,sunum şık.Yöresel lezzetleri de tatmak isterseniz, denemeye değer diyebilirim.Otelin havuzu orta halli ne büyük ne küçük.2 yaşındaki çocugum ile oynarken oldukça eğlendik :) Zaten küçük bir yer olan Turunçta tam ortası olmasa da merkezdesiniz diyebilirim.Sahile 3-4 dk yürüme mesafesinde.Genel anlamda Dores Turunç ta tatilinizi en güzel şekilde geçirmenize yardımcı olabilecek,sıcak temiz ve güzel bir otel.Özellikle çocuklu ailelere rahatlıkla tavsiye edebilirim.

Room for improvement

Stayed here for 2 weeks, spacious, comfortable rooms,the apartment could sleep 5 people, however there were not enough cups, glasses etc for 5. Also there was a dishwasher but we couldn't warrant using it for 4 mugs and there was no plug for the sink! Also the drains did smell very strong in the bathroom, we know this happens in hot countries but it wasn't pleasant. These things wouldn't stop us from returning but it would be nice if these little things were addressed.
