"Where to start? Your first impression of the hotel is the squeaky escalator to the lobby that sounds like it hasn't been fixed in 6 years. That's because it hasn't because that is when we stayed there last. Our first room had the bathroom sink in the hallway & chipped paint in the bathtub. They were kind enough to move us to another room which was nicer but the shower doors wouldn't close. The pillows aren't standard pillows, they are throw pillows in cases. "Stayed at the Strathallen for one night, as I had a high school reunion just a couple blocks away. Just a great property in a perfect location to be near a lot of Rochester attractions. The room was amazing, very large and in excellent condition. Perfect amenities, and a beautiful balcony overlooking part of the neighborhood. The restaurant and bar on the ground level were wonderful, with impeccable service. Highly recommended!"
