Last minute trip to Alands. Hotel poses good value for money compared to others on island. Some parts of hotel are in need of refurbishment. We received a free upgrade and room was nice. Did the job for a one night stay.
I was there during the off season so the hotel was not staffed. I went for breakfast at Hotel Pommern and the staff and breakfast was great

Nice sleep
Savoy is placed central i Mariehamn and it is easy to come around. The hotel as such needs renovation; you feel coming back to the 80s. Everything is clean and beds very good. Breakfast is ok and you have free parking. All over the prices for rooms are very high compared to standard of the hotel and rooms, but for a short stay or if you can get a barking, it is ok.

One night stay worth visiting
The hotel was ok and service was nice. The lobby was really hot when we arrived so we feared that the room will be hot too but luckily it wasn't that bad. Had to keep the window open though to cool the temperature. Lots of noises from the street that windows didn't block completely. The beds were nice but pillows weren't. Everything was clean. Breakfast was ok, but I expected more bc we sent a message beforehand and asked for vegan food. There was porridge but nothing else warm food. Oatly's oatgurt was great and then there were both oat and soy milk for coffee. Nothing extra with bread, just veggies.
Lack of AC made this room hot. In the rooms there is a fan and we, as many others had it in the window to push in fresh air during the night. But there was a lot of cars playing music on full volume so we woke up now and then. A refrigerator in the room would have been nice to have something cold to drink

We should have bee told by the booking
There was no Crow in the hotel, we dident know that by booking. Kuite a dissapointment.
The hotel is quite worn down and would defenitely need some renovation. Air conditioning in room did not work and air quality wasn’t the best. No fridge or minibar in room. Swimming pool open between 14-16 although check in was at 15 and check out at 11. Womens sauna open at 16-17 and mens at 17-18, after which they charge Spa prices for a sauna/swimming session. So if you want to take swim as a couple or with your kids you basically have to build your schedule around the tight pool hours or pay quite a bit extra. Location in city was great but by no means is it a 200€/night hotel, which we paid.

Hej.
Böt hotell till Pommern. Vi skulle i alla fall gå till Pommern och äta vår frukost. Där har vi bott många gånger så det är också ett bra och prisvärt hotell.
Vänligen // Guy Hammarlingh
