Solid choice in Mariehamn. Central location. Not a difficult walk from the ferry, and close to everything else. My room was nice enough, WiFi worked great, and breakfast was really tasty. Best, the front desk helped me arrange a rental car for a day of exploring beautiful and interesting Aland.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were nice, the breakfast options were great and the room was great. However, it was slightly awkward that I was told my room was ready and available when I arrived at the hotel, but that I would have to wait until closer to check-in time to access the room.

Quick check in, good customer service. Room was tidy and bed was ok. Room had water kettle so it was nice to have a cup of coffee in the room. Drinking glasses provided were dirty but otherwise the room including the bathroom was clean and tidy.

Definitely a wonderful hotel super friendly staff @ front office and housekeeping, loved it. Aland is definitely worth the trip especially off off season and this one is a great option to stay at. Cheers !

Great location.

The location is perfect for walking to shopping and attractions. Parking lot is sometimes too full and guests must park on street. Air-conditioning did not work well and room was a bit too warm. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Perfect location for exploring snowy Åland

We stayed at hotel Pommern for 5 days for holidays and really enjoyed our stay there. There was a big breakfast variety every day and the food was always very delicious. We liked the size of our room. It was comfortably furnished with modern amenities. The room and the hotel was very clean. After a long day outside in snowy Mariehamn we enjoyed the Sauna in the lower level of the hotel. All in all we recommend staying at hotel Pommern. We are definitely coming back!

Room was on the small side. No safe in the room was of concern for us. Buffet was crowded and food was only ok. There was no lotion provided in the bathroom as in almost every hotel I've stayed in. The room was on the warm side. Bed was comfortable. Staff were pleasant and location was excellent.

Boring!

Run-of-the-mill conference hotel (I don't know whether it actually is a conference hotel, but it is certainly decorated like one). Very boring interior in the rooms. Not the best beds, and the breakfast was disappointing. Nice staff, though.

The open shower design is not my favorite, but I can live with it. Breakfast was very nice, only surprised that they didn't open the outdoor space .... maybe they considered it to be to cold, but that would have been a plus. The staff was very nice, explained to my kid that if he for some reason gets lost in the hotel he can just come by the front desk and say his name and they will help him locate his room .... drawback of this was he felt very safe but tried to find a reason to run to the front-desk for any flickering light or other reason.
