「This is a really beautiful property and the staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife’s birthday was on one of the days we were there and they surprised her with a birthday cake. No one told them it was her birthday, they just saw it from her passport and did this on their own. Our room was modern with a great balcony with a great view of the volcano. We definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arequipa! 」

「Hotels.com didn’t even send them anything that we had booked our room, luckily it was available. This is a hostel but says it’s a hotel. It needs updated and is in a bad part of town. The family was nice and accommodating. 」

「Qema feels like an arctic oasis, there’s lots of fun spots to sit or explore around their beautiful campus, but you’re still mere steps away from the historical center and many of the tourist sites. I was in the shared female only dorm which was clean, comfortable, and felt safe & secure. Would highly recommend qema.」
