Very nice and clean motel. I like the wall A/C units as they get the rooms cold and don't.have curtains in the way. The staff is friendly and very helpful

Cozy and cheap

This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. We stayed one night while passing through from Miami to Pensacola. The motel is dated but very clean and the staff was hospitable. There are a lot of negative comments about this hotel but if you are looking for a clean, cheap and cozy stay I do recommend this motel.

The only thing this place’s needs is better pillows. Other than that room was very clean and close to the Florida cavern. Unfortunately there is nothing to eat or do in this town.

Room is acceptable for the price paid. Only negative we have are no local news/weather channels on the TV.

I found 4 pizza slices in the fridge that had been there for who knows how long. The bathroom tub paint job was poor and looked like something out of a abandoned house.

Place is like an abandoned building. there’s a reason it’s cheap. If you just need a couple hours sleep it’ll be fine but even that’s scary

Perfect stay!!

You may think you've come to the wring place- small, nondescript. You havent! Book and stop here! This place looks a bit old, but it is CLEAN and the had good internet, which was what I was looking for. The manager and front desk staff were wonderful. Look, this is a budget hotel. You're not getting breakfast or fancy drapes. There's a bit of road noise, but nothing my ear plugs didnt resolve. Just come and stay here for an easy, clean rest.

I have probably stayed at more then 200 hotels/motels in my life, and when i tell you this is the first one I immediately left upon entering without even haggling with the owner. I do not understand how this place has a decent rating. We are not a picky family but when I tell my family and I immediately felt unsafe and uncomfortable. This motel looks like you are entering a Zombie apocalypse. Trash yhrown everywhere across from our room. People were hanging out outside their rooms speaking loudly. We walked in and there was literally dozens of german cockroaches crawling on beds, walls, bath tub EVERYWHERE! The room reaked of cigarette smoke even though I told the manager we needed a non smoking room. They keep the AC off when you arrive so the rooms are musty which makes the intensity of the smoke smell worse. The neighborhood is creepy. I understand you get what you pay for but I at least expect to have a clean bed to sleep and feel safe. Do not bring your small children here! I requested a refund through Travelocity but of course did not get a response from the owner as expected.

Special Charm

I was very pleased with my overnight stay. I got there early and the manager came out and asked me if I was ok when he saw me in the parking lot on the phone. I told him I was early for check-in. He saw my plate and said oh your room is ready. I didn't have to wait. He was very polite. Yes the room is dated but it brought about a special charm. My main concern was cleanliness and comfort. My room supplied both. For the price I was pleased with what I got.
