「you have to consider the following issues before choosing this hotel. 1. check in: if you will arrive after 6pm, it will be inconvenient to check in. they will put the key inside the hotel and you may not be able to find someone to open the door. they use physical key and only provide one key. 2. noise: the room is clean and large but it is a very historic building so you will hear every step from the upper floor. 3. water pressure: as mentioned, it is a very old building, the water pressure...

「Nicely designed room and bathroom and very spacious. The kitchette was lacking in amenities to be able to use it for proper meals (no toaster, limited cutlery/pans etc). Hotel is staffless and you get the key sent to your phone to enter the main entrance and room (requires internet), this was fine for us. The hotel is a great location, right in the middle of Leiden centre.」

「We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout our visit. They generously allowed us to store our luggage until 5:30 p.m. after check-out so we could spend the day doing research at the university library. Since the front desk is not staffed after 2:00 p.m., they clearly explained how to contact them. When we called, they immediately opened the door remotely so we could collect our luggage. It was a very clever and convenient system, and everything worked...

「Die Lage direkt am Strand ist schön. Es ist ein (kostenpflichtiger) Parkplatz vorhanden. Unser Zimmer hatte eher den Charme eine Jugendherberge. Die Klinke zum Badezimmer ist beim ersten Kontakt gleich abgefallen, was aber sofort repariert wurde. Das Frühstück war eine Enttäuschung. Es stand lediglich eine Käsesorte und eine Wurstsorte bereit. Das Rührei war eine nicht durchgekochte Pampe. Irgendwie wurde man satt, aber eine Freude war es nicht. Insgesamt passte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis...
