"Amazing staff - beautiful view - wonderful pool (amazing view again) and Ostriches! Peacocks! Alpacas! Geese! Ducks! Chickens! Dogs! Cats! Rabbits! If you are an animal lover THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! I can not overemphasize how amazing the host and hostess were, how good the food was with the homemade baked goods etc… but the sense of welcome they gave us was unparalleled. We feel like we were visiting family. This is a place that you will want to return to repeatedly."

"It is quite a hike from the nearest train station, but within Loreto the location is great. It is just a five minute walk to the Basilica. The Domus Pacis used to be pilgrim accommodation run by nuns. A year and a half ago it was taken in concession by a local family who also run a restaurant and a souvenir shop in town. The room was very simple but had all the things one could expect in a hotel room - tv, fridge, bed linen, toiletries and even a small balcony. There is no air conditioning but...
