"My room was clean. Staff responsive. Breakfast and sundry amenities were better than the marketing shows. The parking lot is next to the building, but it's an open lot—not "secure" as their marketing claims. The marketing photos show the good parts of the hotel, and there are some. But there is more photo glitz than reality. The lake view is interrupted by a shoddy paved area, and the lake itself is unattractive. Don't book a lake view or anything on the first floor, since the window louvers (no curtains) aren't private. The general impression is that this is a budget hotel. OK for a brief stay. "

"It was nice and clean. There was some construction going on down one of the hallways. The pool fountains weren’t on when we got there around 1 pm. So we had to wait until later to bring the baby swimming. The room was nice. They left us small bottles of shampoo conditioner and body wash. They had cold breakfast for free and then they had “Starbucks” where you could buy hot food and specialty coffee. Pretty pricey. Oh and just a heads up it’s 10 dollars per night for parking and a 200 dollar fee that you get back for incidentals. Just keep that in mind. "

"On top of the $200 a night room, we were informed that we would also be charged $24 a day for parking at the hotel. We were put into a newly “updated” room. The carpet in the hallway had more cushion to it than the room itself. The bed was offset and not centered and it appeared maybe a couch was suppose to go in the space but wasn’t there. The chairs were about as comfortable as sitting on a cheap folding chair. The bathroom door had no lock on it (parents beware). The light switch was in the hallway instead of in the bathroom. Combined with the door that also had a frosted window on it, if you get up in the middle of the night you’re all but surely to wake up anyone else in the room. The bed was marginal at best, I’d equivalent to sleeping on a murphy bed. About the only positive thing I could say was that the hallway was very quiet. I think I’m going to try JW Marriott next time as they were only about $35 more a night."
