The room is small. No AC. Limited outside light. The bed is not confortable. Breakfast is a cold breakfast. Good. Some eggs would be nice as most of the visitors are there to do hiking Nice pool. Access to a fridge. Take note that if you pay on site, they don’t take credit. Only cash. This was not mentioned when I booked on Expedia. The staff are very nice.

Armandino and Conceição were terrific hosts. Made us feel right at home. Served a nice little breakfast and coffee. Located a short drive to the center of town. Very easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. Would recommend staying here.

Was hard to find, based on Expedia address information. When we did find it we were totally disappointed. The sparkling pool shown in the pictures was green. The yard al round the property was a mess. We were tripping over cats all the time. Host did try and was polite. Breakfast was simple but enough. Dinning area inside the house was dark. Overall this was less than we expected. Thankfully we were away from the property in the day time otherwise it would have been awful.

This stone farm house was a lovely 1 night stay for us. Convenient to a really good local restaurant next to puzza parlor in Mangeis. Quaint stone building. Winter so didnt use the pool but would have been great. Lovely breakast. Great staff. Loved the quince jam and fresh bread. Recommend. Would be a great base for Sera da Estrela day trips.

A touch of history with class

Awesome rural agrotorismo accommodation. Lovely couple run a few hundred year old Casa out of the city- close to hiking. Due to the fires last year, many of the hiking boots are closed. Check before you go if your goal is to hike.
