"It was relatively clean, the AC worked well, and the wifi worked well, too. There are a lot of palmetto bugs around the property, which is likely the "roaches" other people mention. They did not come inside though. Shower was too small to comfortably use, and was a bit run down and old. Parking lot is rough, and it floods when it rains hard, making part of it unusable to small cars. Staff generally seemed nice and got me more towels when I asked for them. "We love staying here. The tar heel rates are very reasonable, especially compared to other places. Its very clean. Pool area is very clean and a nice setup. I love the location. Pulblic beach access is directly across the road in front of property. Its close walking distance to the pier. There's a restaurant right beside property thats delicious.
