"Afroditi was an amazing host, we had such a wonderful time staying with her in Agia Effimia. We were welcomed, shown around our room and given detailed recommendations of things to do on the island. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and had a fantastic view of the marina. Her son, Gregory also has a fantastic cafe on the front with a discount for guests staying at the Ionian suites - the food was great. We had a lovely time, and we will definitely be back. "Even though the information on Expedia about the location is wrong (hopefully it has since been rectified); Maria does not do cancellation or refund. Therefore we were in a place we did not want to stay. Everything measured out in the apartment. 2 knives, 2 cups etc. No possibility to make coffee or cook properly. Lassi and Argostoli are a long walk and climb. The difference between the Expedia and actual address is about a 33 minute walk, which with the steep incline is almost impossible to navigate, be aware before booking."
