One of our favourite hotels
One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Wonderful staff, restaurant, swimming pool and room. Concierge was very helpful assisting us with flight changes to return to Australia.

This hotel has the most beautiful spa I have ever been to. Also the prices are amazing. I had a wash and blow dry booked. The staff is very friendly and the property is beautiful.

Great stay for part of our honeymoon in Myanmar
The hotel is very beautiful compare to the hotels around. Is clean and the staff is polite and has lot of attention for the guest. The morning buffet is amazing, great and variety of food. It is close to Mandalay hill and other few pagodas. The only little critic is the swimming pool, which is gorgeous, but is placed right behind the hotel and the shadow from it makes it a bit cold. Impossible to stay for long in it. The restaurants in the hotel are good but a little overpriced for what it cost to eat outside instead. Overall I defently raccomand the hotel and I would come back in future.We had a great stay for par of our honeymoon in Myanmar. Thank you to all the staff for the sweet treat.

I have been to nearly 40 countries and I must say this is the best hotel I've stayed in so far. Before getting into the hotel there was already security checking underneath the vehicle for safety. We spent three nights there and tried every amenity that the hotel had, and nothing was a disappointment! The spa was excellent. The buffet restaurant was also good. I need to especially thank the front office manager - Yin Wai Wai Lwin. She was extremely professional and attentive. My uncle had a severe allergy and she took care of him by contacting a doctor and arranged transportation. She also checked back with him at the end of our stay to make sure he felt better. If I need to say something bad about this hotel, I would say there was something wrong about their AC. It seemed like there was something wrong with their thermostat. My family and I had the AC on at 30 celcius and the rooms felt like refrigerators. The gym could also be a little better by updating their types of equipment to add a squat rack and bicycle. Other than that, this hotel definitely deserves its five star rating!

Old decoration & wifi is slow. Warm touch to welcome guests on the notice board however i think this is against privacy compliance law by listing guests details publicly. Staff service superb and location is close to Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay Hill. Will be good to have renovated rooms. Their design look unchanged for past 20 years

Nothing less that 5 Star. Service was impeccable! The room was nice and the spa was extremely beautiful. Was staying in the executive room, but unfortunately was not able to spend much time in the lounge, however that little time that I spent there was serene .

Great location at the foot of Mandalay Hill. We had a corner deluxe room which is more spacious and had a lovely view of the temples on the hill. The Mercure is an older hotel but it is clean and tidy and the bar and restaurant were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and the concierge was very helpful making reservations for us. A charming place to stay.

Big hotel located a bit far from shops and restaurants, with great swiming pool but small and tired rooms. Lobby and restaurant are well mantained, though. Breakfast buffet was rally good.

Beautiful looking facility. Nothing around so necessary to travel to see anything Taxis and tuk-Tuks not by the hotel so they must call to get service. Results in higher prices. We had to make deals with transportation on our own. Concierge gave us misinformation Said a taxi same price as a tuk tuk which is not true. We made arrangements on our own but this should have been done by the hotel. Spa service unprofessional. I have this service regularly elsewhere but the spa here is terrible as to hair/manicure/pedicure. I do not think they are trained. The facility is absolutely beautiful. Hotel stores are very high priced. Concierge was awfu until we complained. Thereafter very helful

I was expecting a very good breakfast buffet spread from the earlier comments feedback but was disappointed when I was there my last visit on the 9th Dec. The breakfast buffet spread was not much variety and not many. Their Burmese Mohinga noodle soup was nice. The 2 days stay I took this and their fried noodles . The cake at dessert section spread also not many variety. Overall I was quite disappopinted with the breakfast buffet ...

This hotel is extremely welcoming and they helped us plan our whole stay with activities and transportation! They served us a delicious green pepper and pineapple drink. I loved the the rooms they are very unique and don't feel like a large hotel chain which I greatly appreciated having traveled a lot. Wifi was a little slow but tolerable. Location is perfect right outside the hustle and bustle of the city but close to many great sites!!!

Great band in the bar and wonderful culture show one evening. Prices in the restaurants were reasonable I would say best hotel in Mandalay

We loved the pool and hotel grounds. The staff was extremely considerate. We left things both in our hotel safe and independent taxi, and the hotel tracked us down and made sure we got them back.
