The entrance was clean and bright with really pleasant and helpful staff the lift is useful on entering the room it was bigger than expected really bright 3 clean lovely and bright with super decor the bathroom with a walk in shower was exceptional big and really clean
Great stay. Angel Suite was a great choice! Staff, from reception to housekeeping all great nothing was too much trouble! Ideal location.
Parking nearby although only seemed to get discount on first night, but think they is down to logging your car reg at reception every day of your stay not just the first
Gorgeous building great spacious room with nice design and beautiful artwork in the hallway. The breakfast restaurant is lovely. Not sure why it wasn’t full of people.
Just had 2 nights at the Heathcote and really liked the hotel. Set in a classic old Manchester building just 3 minutes walk from the train station, the rooms are large and airy with high ceilings and lots of space, also tastefully decorated. Breakfast was really good too and made to order rather than a buffet stye. Staff were really helpul and friendly.
Perfect stay. Lovely spacious, clean room that was upgraded on arrival. Bed was huge and so comfortable. Great location and discounted car parking near by! Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Excellent staff, from front desk to cleaners and a good central/train station location. A bit of TLC on the bedrooms would be appreciated, as it left me thinking “you get what you pay for, “not an excellent all round hotel”.
Security is not perfect, as once in the building, no lift or access to rooms restrictions. Even some budget chains have the basics.
Would book again but only if other similar hotels weren’t available
The staff were all very friendly and helpful ' the room was clean and spacious ' perfect for 1 or 2 nights . We would stay here again and recommend to others
We had a lovely comfortable 2 night stay. Check in was easy. Helpful staff. Ideally situated for city centre and about 15 mins walk to AO arena. Hotel gives a Discount on the parking which was a 2 min walk away. Overall a great place to stay.

Staff very friendly, beautiful building, clean room and very comfy bed and pillows.
Plus points are excellent location for Piccadilly train station, quirky and original design, a large, modern bathroom with a powerful shower, decent air-conditioning, free tea, coffee and canned water, decent WiFi and friendly and efficient staff.
A few points that were not so good - poor soundproofing with other rooms and outside, creaky bathroom door, limited clothes hanging space (only 4 hangers), small TV, ugly wardrobe/TV stand that didn't fit in with the aesthetic of the room.
Location is magnificent, so close to the main train station and Manchester City Centre. Hotel is in a beautiful old building but it’s well-maintained, renovated and sleek. Would stay here anytime I came to Manchester.
Great receptionist who checked me into my room early (1.30 ish).
Large comfortable bed.
Excellent breakfast quickly served by friendly and efficient staff.
