My husband and I stayed at the Ash Street Inn this past weekend for a Valentine’s Day weekend getaway. Complementary drinks like soda, coffee and tea, as well as snacks like fresh fruit, chips, granola bars, and cookies made the stay very comfortable. Our room had a remote-controlled fireplace that was so cozy to relax next to, and it was fully stocked with whatever toiletry you could ever need including advil, chapstick, makeup remover (only thing I didn’t find was emergency feminine hygiene products but everything else was there!) Rob and Margit are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and thoughtful of every detail. What really made the trip for us was the smorgasbord of a breakfast. We informed them we are vegan ahead of time, and they delivered more than we could have ever expected. Firstly, we were offered homemade granola and vegan yogurt, as well as fresh fruit bowls. I had thought this was the extent of it and was honestly already satisfied but then they handed us the real menu which offered a choice between sweet vegan pancakes and a savory southwest tofu scramble, which were both delectable! They also had vegan peanut butter cookies when we arrived! We had a lovely convo with Rob and Margit during our breakfast and they gave us free guest passes for the Currier Museum of Art just a couple blocks down the street from the Inn, whom they have a partnership with as a local business. We went after checking out and it was a perfect way to end our wonderful trip!!

The property and accommodations for very comfortable. We had a lot of hospitality coming from Rob. Not very much conversation coming from his wife, but she did seem friendly as well. We were happy that he was very accommodating when we I thought seen your email about how to get into the building. He went out of his way to greet us at the door, and we felt like that was a very warm welcome. It was not in the neighborhood that my husband and I felt comfortable walking around to explore the town. Unfortunately, that’s the only reason why I did not get five stars.

The wind and the banging of the flag poles was so noisy. Got no sleep. So many rooms located around it. Must have been the same for many people. Shame because rooms and locations are good!

This bed and breakfast was charming, historical, excellent and extremely friendly and informative owners, convenient to gas for refueling and downtown dining on Elm Street. We will most definitely return when next in the Manchester, New Hampshire area and highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling through and needs a quiet respite!

Beautiful bed and breakfast
Very beautiful! Everything was so wonderful. The host couple was very friendly and helpful with information of local sites and restaurants. Our room was very delightful, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. They had an outside patio that we sat onand enjoyed a cup of coffee. We will visit "Ash street Inn" again when we are in the area.

This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast. It was absolutely delightful! The innkeepers were so nice, friendly and helpful! The Inn was gorgeous, clean, comfortable and full of any of the amenities you could need. Our room was beautiful and the fireplace was great to have on a chilly night. Breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be returning in the summer for another visit!

The hosts were fantastic. Super friendly. The room was great. Very clean. One of our favourite parts was the covered porch - we walked to a convenience store, bought beer and sat on the porch and enjoyed the scenery. The breakfast was delicious and company at breakfast was fun.

There is a great deal to be said about our stay at the Ash Street Inn. I was there for my graduation from SNHU. The property is a beautifully restored Victorian-style home with rooms cozy and spacious enough for two people to amble about without bumping into each. The bathrooms have EVERYTHING you can think of regarding toiletries. So if you forget anything, no worries. I bet they have it! I was so impressed, that I took a few ideas to update the guest room in my home. The atmosphere was welcoming. Let's be honest, as people of color, you never know how you will be received in some places. I can say we felt welcomed. The owners are truly passionate about what they do here. 6. Note that children under 12 are not allowed. That being said, it was peaceful. Also, there are only about five guestrooms so you will not have to worry about noise and crowds. Now for my favorite part, the breakfast! Rob is a wonderful cook and his wife Margrit (sp?) is an extraordinary hostess. The first morning I had the omelet which was delicious. I spied pancakes on another guest's plate and vowed to order those the next morning. I was so set on those pancakes that I had a dream about them (a nightmare really, that I could not get them because they ran out). Those fluffy mounds of blueberry goodness were just as dreamed they would be! Did I mention the owners? They truly make the place. They were caring and accommodating. I am close to my 1500-word limit. So, yes! I would definitely return!

I stayed here for an interview that I had at a nearby hospital. The property was very clean, accommodating, quiet, and provided that quaint New England B&B vibe. Everything about my stay was perfect. Also, you’re not restricted to only stay in your room as they encoursge you to explore the first floor living room and dining area (treats provided!). The owners Rob and Margit were super friendly and provided a lot of info regarding the surrounding area. Check-in and check-out was seamless and they even allowed me to come back after check-out to retrieve my luggage and use their powder room to get changed between the interview and my flight. I would highly recommend it here for anyone who is staying in Manchester, NH and I hope to visit again!

We Will Return!
Ash Street Inn is a lovely place to stay in Manchester - particularly if you are not interested in lodgings at a traditional corporate-style hotel. The inn is nicely situated and is a short walk (roughly 10 to 15 minutes) to the downtown area - and an even quicker drive if you are visiting in the dead of winter. We had a large, clean and comfortable room and en suite bathroom. Margit and Rob are gracious hosts and are committed to making your stay exceptional. The fresh, cooked-to-order breakfasts were a highlight of our stay and we appreciated all of the extra touches - including fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon and complimentary water and sodas. We look forward to staying at the inn next time we are in the Manchester area.

Welcoming Inn - Clean and Conveniently Located
Very clean and welcoming inn located close to the airport and walking distance from restaurants and Currier Museum of Art. Room was spotless and cozy, and bed was comfortable. Inn owners Margit and Rob were helpful, friendly and accommodating.
