"This is a unique home! From the time we arrived until our departure, Judy and Don took great care to see that we were comfortable. The delicious breakfast is made from scratch each morning and served with great care by Judy and Don dressed in vintage attire and aprons. Breakfast times are chosen so that you can arrange more privacy or mingle with the hosts and other guests. The hallway is always stocked with homemade cookies to enjoy as well as tea and water . You can tell that Judy and Don truly love being hosts and it shows in thier hospitality, grounds, and interesting Victorian decor. Not only is The Holly House located only a few miles from Callaway Gardens, Judy shares all the local vintage, antique and other shopping " honey holes" in the area. We feel like we have new friends and can't wait to return. "

"Very nice hotel staff. The hotel sits off the road with easy parking. THere are a few small places to eat in the area and very good BBQ at Mac's. I would recommend the showers have work done on them and the shower heads be replaces, very small towels that don't dry you off but more or less spread the water around. But overall a decent place to stay for the money. "

"I had a fantastic stay the entire time. I was there! The only thing I would have to say negative about my stay was, I wish they had a more proper breakfast. When I went in there at 8 o'clock in the morning, It was only muffins juice and coffee.Especially to staying there for work, That's pretty important. But otherwise everything was clean. Very comfortable, super quiet, which was very important for my trip too. Great place. Will be back"

"The young man who checked us in was pleasant and polite. We met Joy and her husband the next morning and they went above and beyond to give us area information and fun, local things to do. Joy also boxed up few mini muffins and granola for us to take on our hikes. She also hollered out the front door when we were leaving, and I forgot one of my bags:) They gave the kind of experience that makes you want to come back and to recommend the hotel to others. We had a wonderful experience there. "
