「As soon as we got to our floor, the second floor, we were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke despite it being a non-smoking floor (maybe even hotel?). Throughout the night we kept getting whiffs of cigarettes throughout the room. The most concerning part, under the bathroom counter there were glue traps for mice and other bugs and insects which leads me to believe it’s not the cleanest, most maintained hotel. 「Stayed 3 nights with family, children included. We go to Surfside Motel annually, sometimes twice a summer. The owners and staff are always friendly and helpful. My children and their friends enjoy the pool. It’s located on the main ocean block. Across from the boardwalk and Lucky Leo’s. It’s a Jersey Shore motel so that’s what you need to expect. But totally worth a stay!」
