Firstly, you need a 4 wheel drive to reach the resort. We had to park our car at the bottom of the hill at the side of the road. The owner had to come get us and bring us to the resort. "0/10. Didn’t receive any check-in info from the host, the address listed is incorrect and the phone seems to not be in service. I was ultimately unable to find and stay at the property. There is also a no money back policy. Spent over an hour on the phone with expedia and they weren’t able to get a hold of the property owner either or get additional info from them. Expedia and I were able to work something out, appreciate their efforts. Steer clear of this one though."

"First time visitors to Jarabacoa and I cannot be happier with our hotel selection. The staff is there to greet you in the lobby, the cleaning ladies are very sweet and attentive. The breakfast crew was always on point as well as the service in the pool. Dinner I suggest you do early bc the kitchen can get busy since patrons outside of the hotel are allowed to come by to eat. The cleanliness there is top notch, I wish they had a fitness room but they had some tennis courts available for use. Almost all room have their own balcony which was nice to wake up to and just sit there to take in the sunrise! It’s a naturesque hotel with lots of greenery, peace and security."
