"The cottage itself is lovely, and has a lot of potential. It’s a large cottage which accomodates 5. Lighting wasn’t working in all rooms which was a nuisance and the facilities in the kitchen were dirty and not maintained well. Oven and stove worked, coffee machine filthy. Given that you would hire a cottage to do self catering, it wasn’t one of the better cottages we have stayed in. We found it a cold welcoming, no welcome note, only a small box of biscuits on entry. The day we were to arrive we got a message from the hotel to say that they were undergoing renovations and they would refund us for our breakfast charges and give us a free to-go breakfast one day. Annoying as we have a very picky eater and the buffet is a main reason we booked Premier Inn. When we arrived it took the counter staff ages to check us in as apparently there was something confusing about the booking in the system. She was very nice though. So...

"Great, well appointed apartment which is very central. Can be quite noisy at night especially having to have the windows open when it’s hot. Seemed to be a popular location for late night drinkers to have heart to hearts in the wee hours. Can’t fault the apartment, it had everything you could need. Minutes away from the town and beach. On the rainy days we had there were even board games for kids which my son loved. Thanks for a great stay. "

"Bed was not comfy as we had backache after second night , we turned mattress round was ok that night but the after that . The step into the shower was too high and we had to buy a step to get in it and also the floor surface was very slippy . Was ck an and tidy and overall not a bad place to stay and would recommend and return at some point "
