The staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I especially loved the breakfast…such a great way to start the day!
Room was very nice with a great view of the trees. We loved having breakfast available every morning. Thought the retro refrigerator and microwave were so cute. The staff was very friendly and informative. Coffee was great and available at 6 am. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Mammoth Lakes.
Super cute hotel. Very nice staff. They actually have a pretty good breakfast too. The only issue I had was there were coyotes out at night barking but what are you gonna do about that? The hotel did provide great earplugs though. Once, I put the ear plug in and filled my ear, and I could not hear anything else again. The bed is super comfy too so I knocked right out again. I would definitely stay here again.

Really misleading photos, booked a room based off the photos and the room looked nothing alike. They don’t advertise the room we stayed in, when we booked it showed a photo of a larger room with a living area. I think the photos should get changed, the style of room we got is not advertised anywhere. Very expensive for the small room we got. Drains were also clogged. Cute little office area, breakfast was just pancakes, staff was friendly
Beware, the photos are spectacular, this place should be a $60 a nite max. It’s like a youth hostel but with private rooms. Well-worn is too kind a description, they are bold and lucky to be charging what they are. And warming, the Shower is one of those “install it in a small corner”, you have to get out of it to change your mind it’s so small.
That said if every other place in town is sold out it’s an option, you won’t get shanked I’m pretty sure, and the bed is a decent foam mattress.
Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and during stay. Looked forward to using hot tub and having breakfast, but were too tired to use the hot tub and too rushed to linger for breakfast . Facility shows its age, but is well-maintained and fits the ski-and-outdoor-recreation vibe of the place.
So cute! The property, the rooms, the lobby/ breakfast area all adorable. The rooms were clean and updated. The ONLY really disappointing part was the bathroom and the blatant sloppiness of the paint thrown up in the rooms. There was paint all over the light fixtures, the bathroom had been painted several times and you could see right through the paint to the previous colors. The bathrooms could really be updated a tad. The breakfast was truly free and made fresh!! Real eggs, homestyle potatoes, pancakes, homemade salsa. Delish!! All in all, I look forward to staying here again while in Mammoth :)
We had such a comfortable stay. The cabin style studio was so clean and kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook ect. In the morning the buffet food was delicious definitely nice to have a home cooked free breakfast and their kitchen staff and receptionist were the most darling staff! Definitely felt like a comfy home. I would come back again for sure. In the morning I drank my coffee with such a nice view in the back of our room. I don’t want to leave. We did. Check in late so they left our key in an envelope very smooth process no hassle.
This place was absolutely beautiful. Small rooms for sure. But overall it was just darling. We were in and out so didn’t need much. Breakfast was great!!! Only thing I’d say is try and get there BEFORE check in. We luckily got there at 9:04 and the front desk was still there. They say if you’re after 9 they leave an envelope with your room key, that’s great but the thing is our key didn’t open the door. So we would have been locked out and put money (I’m sure we would have gotten reimbursed but would have either slept in the car or ran around town to figure out another room) was a little shocked with that, but Gods timing we barely just made it and staff was still on site. Was amazing!!!
