Great hotel to stay at and brilliant location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Brilliant breakfast catered for most allergens with and gluten free options !! Only negative for me is no kettle in room.

Nice hotel near the train station. Easy to walk to the lovely parks, shops, bars. Our room was a Superior Double and very spacious. Would recommend if you want a good no frills hotel. Breakfast was a good quality buffet. Unexpected as we didn’t think we’d booked breakfast.

Fabulous stay and great breakfast!

The staff at the breakfast work so hard to put out a beautiful spread. Although there is no hot food everything was fresh and delicious and they would do it with a smile every day! I asked about vegan butter and was kindly offered vegan cheese as well. Thanks breakfast staff you were the nicest folks ever!

The rooms are tiny. Basically a small single room with a double bed. The bed is up against the wall on three sides so one of you has to climb over the other. Excellent breakfast included.

We were initially given a room on the top floor (6th) with the double bed against the wall and the bottom of the bed touching the other wall. This meant that if my husband wanted to use the bathroom in the night, he would either have to climb over me to get out of my side or wake me up to get out so he could then get out. A helpful receptionist showed us the only alternative room which we accepted as although it was also against the wall, there was space at the foot of the bed for him to slide down the bed to exit it from the bottom. Had this configuration of a double room been shown on the website, we would not have booked this hotel. On the plus side, the bed itself was comfortable and the included breakfast was excellent.

Convenient location, clean, good breakfast including vegan options. Unfortunately on a very busy road and very loud if you want to open a window in summer. Also, double bed only accessible from one side as located against the window so awkward to get in and out for one person, especially if wanting to go to the loo in the night.
