"Lynda's accomodation is designed for both form and function. There's enough seating area outside for every type of weather. When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. "Overall stay was brilliant, safe parking and staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Room was clean , comfortable and warm (weather was awful). Food was not quite up to the very high standards of the hotel or staff but perfectly acceptable."

"Excellent hotel. Friendly efficient staff. Parking provided. Well located in the heart of the town. Room was spacious and comfortable. Heating worked well. Good bathroom. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Good meals available in the pub. One thing to note, there is no lift in the building, so stairs have to be negotiated which could be a concern, especially with luggage."

"We had a wonderful stay at Palé Hall. The staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived, making us feel welcome and well looked after throughout our visit. The hotel itself is stunning—beautifully maintained with elegant interiors and tranquil grounds situated in lovely countryside that makes it feel like a true escape. On arrival we had a quick guided tour of the property and exploring the ground-floor rooms, each full of character and history. The taster menu was outstanding, and the wine pairing elevated the experience even further—easily one of the highlights of our stay. As a dog-friendly hotel, Palé Hall made our dog feel just as at ease as we were. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of warmth, comfort, and 5-star luxury. Highly recommended."

"The check in was quick and easy, the room was superb and plenty big enough with a writing desk, coffee table and chairs and a superb bathroom complete with a bath. I dined in the evening, the food was first class, as was the service. Breakfast was also excellent. One minor criticism is that an omelette was the same price as a full English. I had that as I wasn't hungry enough for a full fry up but didn't want continental. Parking outside is also problematic. There is some short term parking very close but the main car park is a few minutes walk away and 'pay and display' so the cost of that needs to be factored in to the overall cost of a night stay. Overall I would recommend it and be happy to stay there again."
