Kuin pala paratiisia

Esitteen kuvat pitävät paikkansa, hieno alue. Siisti ja siivotaan päivittäin. Keittiö on myös erittäin hyvä, hieman suppea menu. Rauhallinen alue, saa nukkua rauhassa. Rannalle noin 5 minuutin matka mutta oma allas on riittävä. Alueena muutenkin rauhallinen, vain perjantaisin ranta bileet eli sopii parhaiten rentoutumiseen. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä lukuunottamatta respan Rachelia jonka kanssa ei onneksi tarvitse olla juurikaan tekemisissä, hänen vuokseen yksi tähti pois.

beautiful but reservation problem

The place was beautiful and quiet. But we had a problem with the reservation : the villa was already booked when we arrived. And the family inside the villa didn't want to leave...We should wait the day after to enter the villa at 5 pm so we lost time...and we had 2 bedrooms and 1 kitchen in compensation. The problem also was we didn't have clear explanations with the mananger...But we enjoyed our stay in this villa. Also we din't have internet during 1 day and wirefire works only near the reception (far from the villa).

Злой и жадный Лука

Отель не плох на первый взгляд,достаточно уютная террит-я,персонал услужливый и очень приятный-они молодцы!Пожалуй,из плюсов это всё.Теперь о главном.Отель, а точнее гест хаус расположен в итал. части города,точнее пригорода Малинди.Здесь всё итальянское:кафе,магазины,рестораны,отели и т.д. Итальянцы повсюду:старые и молодые, маленькие и большие-все итальянцы!Кто-то там живет,кто-то отдыхает.Итальянские дедушки приехали позабавиться с молоденькими африканками,а итальянские бабушки-с африканскими чернокожими юношами.Противно!Не без исключения этот гест хаус-тоже итальянский,принадлежит Луке и Джессике.Джессика-адекватная,достаточно добродушная девушка.Лука-жадный,безэмоциональный,расчетливый и не очень располагающий к общению человек.Отдыхать на территории геста не очень комфортно из-за постоянного нахождения там Луки и его двух детей,которые бесконечно шумят,бегаю и резвятся.Лука постоянно за всеми наблюдает,бесконечно нервно курит,постоянно что-то считает на калькуляторе,записывает в ежедневник и пересчитывает деньги.Наблюдать эту картину не очень приятно.Это-что касается хозяина,а теперь о проживании:горячей воды нет,её,экономный Лука включает по вечерам на час и то не всегда.Такая же история с электричеством-его тоже регулярно отключают.Имейте ввиду!В номерах нет сейфов и холод-ов. Полотенца меняются через раз.Мыло-один кусочек был выдан в начале проживания,больше мыло не дают.Сущность Луки, как вы видите, проявляется во всём.Пляж в 10мин ходьбы, в воду не зайти-водоросли.

Green oasis near the Marine Park

I stayed one week in the Marine Holiday House in March 2014. I had a very nice time in this hotel, the rooms are spacious and the furniture is great, of course in African style but with an extra touch! The big bed is very confortable and everything is extremely clean and tidy. This hotel offers very good meals for an affordable price. I booked half board and was very happy with the food, a mix of Kenyan specialties and Italian taste, the fish was great and fresh fruit was always available, both during the day and for breakfast. The pool is great, especially in the afternoon when the beach is too hot, I enjoyed the shadow in and around the relaxing pool. The owners Jessica and Luca are extremely nice and offered to take me to the city more than once without charging any money, which is very unusual in Africa! The staff is very kind and helpful, both owners and staff speak good English, so that you'll feel confortable at Marine Holiday House wherever you might come from. I would go back any time! Thanks a lot.

Buone potenzialità

Il posto è carino e ben posizionato e con il tempo potrà diventare un vero gioiellino, purtroppo i gestori sono nuovi all'esperienza di albergatori e si vede, quindi ci sono varie cose che non vanno: le camere grandi e accessoriate hanno le lenzuola piccole e si dorme nel materasso quindi le condizioni igieniche sono scarse, le zanzariere hanno i buchi e le zanzare entrano, le rubinetterie sono vecchie specie nella doccia e lo scarico del wc è difficoltoso....le zone comuni sono trascurate, a parte il salotto della reception che è sempre occupato dal gestore e dai figli lasciando gli ospiti a pellegrinare fra le sedie (e anche da questo si evince la mancanza di esperienza sull'accoglienza dei clienti) manca il generatore di corrente, il pos, il collegamento wifi che peraltro sONO segnalati sul sito in fase di prenotazione....nonostante tutto questo già la titolare Jessica si da molto da fare per accontentare i clienti e quindi penso che con il tempo e la giusta manutenzione sarà un ottimo posto per soggiornare. Oggi come oggi tocca un pó adattarsi e trattandosi di vacanze non è sempre piacevole trovare giustificazione a comportamenti a volte sopra le righe....
