Excellent for our brief stay

Only a brief overnight stay en-route to the Kruger Park so didn't see much of it or use the facilities outside the chalet. What we did see was excellent and we would return. Spacious 2 bedroom chalet with river view, bathrooms good and beds comfortable.

Great stay!

I stayed 2-room chalet for 1 night with my friends. The staffs are helpful and friendly. What really surprised me is that the view outside our chalet by the river. It is also fantastic that the space is big with living room and kitchen. Staying here means you can enjoy the time before and after visiting Kruger for sure. There are swimming pools and a restaurant. Near gas station and Kruger gate. Highly recommended for everyone!

Dit was de 4e keer dat we hier verbleven. Omdat we slechts met 2 waren, hadden we gekozen voor de 2 persoons cabin met keuken. Deze was heel schoon, bed sliep heerlijk en in de keuken stonden voldoende spullen. Helaas vonden we de plastic stoeltjes op het terras niet comfortabel en wordt de cabin heel heet op een zeer warme dag. Volgende keer nemen we weer een huisje met 2 slaapkamers. De luxe hiervan weegt tegen de hogere prijs op. Binnen een jaar een mooi nieuw zwembad met bar en sportfaciliteiten toegevoegd. Fantastisch! We komen zeker terug

Beautiful views

Beautiful property. The only issue was that there was no water. The city apparently had the water off to do repairs. It came on in the middle of the night. I took a shower in the morning and the water was brown! Yuck. The beautiful young lady who checked us in could not have been nicer. I would stay there again! As long as the water was on!

Happy but can improve

The resort is absolutely amazing. Happy with the staff and service was great. The bedding was really old and worn out, sheets had holes, mattress was really worn out and uncomfortable. The blanket supplied was rather dirty and I asked for it to be cleaned which they did well. The overall cabin was ok but needs maintenance to make it an excellent venue.

Excellent stay!

I had a very pleasant stay at Kruger View chalets - the unit was well-appointed with everything I needed in the kitchen and the air-conditioner in the bedroom made a huge difference on the hot summer days. The only very minor issue I had was that the lounge does not have an air-conditioner - it does have a fan but all this does is to blow the hot air collected under the thatch roof down into the lounge area. The bedroom's air-conditioner was pointed towards the lounge though so with the bedroom door left open, this did eventually cool down the lounge area a bit. This is really quite minor though and I really enjoyed my stay. The river frontage and small viewing deck allows for great birding inside the property and although I didn't use the pool, it looked very inviting. I'd happily stay here again in future.

Great location

Great location. Our chalet was right at the riverside, which was fantastic. We witnessed elephants and lions roaming the riverbed. The chalet itself was ok. It could do with some modernisation. Overall a great stay.

O chalé é muito confortável, com tudo o que se precisa para refeições lá mesmo. Internet ótima e localização excelente. Pouquíssimos km distante do Portão do Kruger e também com supermercados e restaurantes próximos. Se der sorte, ainda é possível avistar alguns animais.

Enjoyed the open space. Stayed in one of the single cabins. Seems that exterior green space could use some landscaping. Security seemed a bit lacking as this is South Africa, though staff assured that it was okay. Seems that the two bedroom cabins closer to the river are the nicest rooms.

Perfect base to explore Kruger Park

Kruger View Chalets are modern efficiency units right on the Crocodile River. There are lovely sitting areas and the pool was much appreciated. We also walked (200m) to The Deck restaurant at the Rio Brava Hotel next door several times for awesome meals. I've already signed up for another week next year.

Oase der Ruhe am Crocodile River

Wir haben die Kruger View Chalets anstatt der Unterkünfte im Krüger Park gewählt und waren hoch zufrieden. Die Chalets, direkt am Corcodile River gelegen, verfügen über zwei Schlafzimmer und eine komplette Küchenausstattung, wer nicht selber kochen will, kann sich des Terrassen-Restaurants bedienen. Die angebotenen Speisen und Getränke sind ebenso zufriedenstellend wie die freundlichen der Bedienungen, des Reception Personals und des Managements. Die Pavillons im Garten der Hotelanlage eignen sich der Beobachtung von Elefanten, Wasserböcken, Impalas, Wasservögeln, etc.

Très bon séjour

Très bel appartement, confortable, spatieux et superbe vue sur le parc et la piscins. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la terrasse au dessus de la rivière avec vue sur la savane environnante. (avec un peu de patience nous avons vu un hippoppotame); Je conseille le restaurant à l'entrée qui a de l'excellente viande.
