I agree with all the comments posted on various social media sites. The welcome is impeccable, activities can be booked directly at reception, and the accommodation (I took a single room) was very large, spacious, and very functional. It feels great! I highly recommend it!

The staff at Snooze Malang are so kind and thoughtful, more so than any accomodation I have ever stayed in! The hostel itself was beautiful, clean and in a great location. Our experience at Snooze Malang helped make Malang our favourite city to visit in Indonesia.

Top verblijf!

An absolutely perfect stay! The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful, they are genuinely a credit to the business. We (late 30’s couple) stayed in a private ensuite room - it was very clean and had everything you could need. Basic but perfect for our 2 nights. The hostel itself was beautiful. So clean and well manicured. There’s a fridge/cooker etc if needed. The communal areas were really well thought out and the whole place was pretty much silent the whole time we were there. It’s tucked away in a lovely quiet street, a world away from the more chaotic main roads of the city. The location was unbeatable for sightseeing around Malang, everything is walkable and most of the tourist sights are within just minutes of the hostel. The train station is just a few minutes walk or <£1 in a Grab. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough, particularly for the price. The staff made our stay, thank you for the recommendations and for your warmth and hospitality!

The location is super convenient, right near the train station and surrounded by everything you need, including a convenience store and a great chicken soup place nearby. The hostel is exceptionally clean. I usually hate walking barefoot, but the staff cleans so frequently that the floors are completely grit-free. They even empty the trash cans in the rooms constantly, making for a very comfortable stay. Plus, the hostel partners with a tour agency, so you can easily book any day trip or tour right at the front desk.
